Let me introduce you to Azer. This new Girl Group is formed from 7 students at Howon's University's Kpop department. This is something completely new and interesting. Im very curious what they will bring to kpop.
The Kpop department was established at Howon's University in 2019. The head of the department, Professor Shin Yeon Ah is a former member of the vocal group Big Mama. She wanted to create a group that didnt follow the normal way of training that most idols go through. Students in this department follow classes taught by current and former idol trainers. Some of the careers the students graduating from this department will go into are idol, vocal trainer, songwriter, manager and A&R professional. In this course of 4 years they will follow lessons in every core element of being a kpop idol. With these classes they hope to improve their skills and help them pass aditions if they would wish to.
For this first Group they picked out 7 first-year students through auditions.
