My dad used to do this with me.

It was a old Vespa PX 200 Iris, not a fancy BWM but it made me so happy each time.

I will wait for him in the basement of our building till he came back from work. No matter that I knew he’ll arrive much latter, I’d be waiting for him for hours just to make sure we’ll leave as soon as possible.

First I’ll be in the back seat, grabbing tight to not fall and enjoying the ride with and oversized helmet.

When the journey was finished and we were heading to the garage he’d put me in the front seat and make me believe I was driving that noisy (and huge for me) machine.

This is one of my happies memories from when I was young, I’m so happy for it, and I know I’m so lucky I had a father that had still energy and time to spend with me after a long, long day at work.

Thank you dad, I know you’ll never read this, but no worries, I’ll make sure to let you know next time we see.
