Phantom Scramble

Is this for real?!? Almost a year after starting this project, I am so happy to share my finished villager models for the Phantom Thieves of Hearts!

I originally started working on this to coincide with the releases of Persona 5 Royal and Animal Crossing New Horizons, but somewhere in the middle I experienced a pretty substantial art block. It’s taken me 11 months but I’ve finally gained my motivation back to finish it and here it is!

Applin

Applin is my new favorite Pokemon and I just hatched a shiny one in my copy of Shield and it makes me so happy . 

For those who don't know, I have been suffering a pretty bad art block and also fighting against crippling impostor syndrome. I'm slowly trying to gain more confidence in my art and capabilities in order to keep doing what I love. Thanks for your patience! 💚❤️

Chao

Decided to try out some of the techniques I’ve been experimenting with through the Animal Crossing portraits on something else. I made my best buddy from my Sonic Adventure 2 days, Eggmond the Chao. I always loved giving my Chao’s their eggshells back to wear as hats!

Animal Crossing Style Study

With a new game on the horizon, I decided to spend the last few weeks doing an in depth study on the Animal Crossing art style, and also utilize what I learned by working on a batch of Animal Crossing themed villager commissions!

The BEST way to contact me is to message me on Twitter or Instagram but I do check Tumblr every so often so if this is the best place for you to message me, I will eventually see it.

Keep in mind that these can take about 1 to 2 days to finish, and I’ll work on a few a day, so there may be some waiting involved if you want to commission me! Art isn’t my full time gig, but by working with me and sharing my art, you help me get one step closer to achieving that.

A Frog’s Tale

I’m happy to share that I’m contributing to NRMN and friend’s “A Frog’s Tale” game. I created the concept for the logo for the game which was translated to pixel art by the fantastic Thomas Lean. Additional illustration work by Cheri (Bonsaisonly).

Keep an eye out for updates on this adorable game and I hope you’re leaping with joy at what you’ve seen so far!

The Pink ones (Strawberry) have a rose gold metal backing, the purple (Taro) have a silver backing, the Orange ones (Thai Tea) have a copper metal backing, and the Green (Matcha Green Tea) have a gold metal backing. Each pin has two posts on the back.
