"why must you quarrel with me?" you sigh out of exasperation as you stand at the kitchen counter.
"i'm not quarreling, i'm saying that we cannot get another cat," shoto stared at you in shock, maybe.
you keep talking about getting yet another cat, as if you two don't already have three because you seem to just attract them. but she's a stray outside of your florist job and she comes back every day, she so clearly wants you to bring her home.
"but sho! she's the sweetest thing ever! and she's a black cat and you know what happens to black cats," you frown deeply, genuinely saddened. which, to be fair, the treatment of black strays are terrible.
"besides," you round the counter to stand in front of him as he sits in the barstool you picked out for your shared apartment. "we have three, and i think mimi is lonely. i think the other two leave her out. do you want our baby left out?" you pout looking at him, trying to guilt him.
he stares are you blankly for maybe ten full seconds before letting out a defeated sigh. "fine love, we can get the cat." you let out a squeal hugging his neck tightly.
"thank you sho! now let me show you pictures of her!" you go scrambling to the bedroom to grab your phone.
shoto can't really help giving in to you, you're just so sweet and he swears your eyes have magic powers.
side note: i've never written for shoto before, but i love him lots. this is dedicated to my lovely nat so hi nat <3
