It seemed that both father and son had the same idea. Edric had tired quickly of the festivities happening inside. While he enjoy a good cup of wine just like anyone else, he could do without the crowd and the constant small talk that he was dragged into without ever asking for it. "if they intended to torture me with this attire, well, they are succeeding," she remarked. although she was accustomed to wearing less comfortable garments, dueling in such an outfit seemed utterly unfeasible.
