Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing
Donna surrounded by three people who cannot stop talking. She'll need an extra beer.
Tatennant au: “You’re my favorite writer of all time and I’m so so pleased to finally meet you.”
“David and I…. there was just… we didn’t know each other before Doctor Who but it felt like we did. And as soon as we got on set together, it just sort of…. clicked. And it continued to do so. And it was amazing.”
I keep remembering that we’re getting a Tatennant comedy next year and I’m so emo y’all
I just wanted to say
YOUR OTP COULD NEVER BECAUSE MINE ALREADY HAS
Okay this sort of thing is usually fodder for tag-blabbering but I am in a particularly gush-y mood tonight so fuck it WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE DAVID AND CATHERINE.
okay so i don’t care if you ship them as a brotp or an otp or if shipping real people squicks you out but you gotta admit they have so much chemistry or WHATEVER if you follow me you must at least like them a bit
usually people have an otp or brotp from a show. great. that’s awesome. they make lots of fan things about it. they hope the writers don’t kill them off or break them up or if they’re not canon they write in detail about imagining them screwing. cool.
but THESE TWO. THESE TWO, right
they obviously do doctor who together and much ado. and you think great! end of a beautiful era. we were so lucky to have gotten those two huge things from them
but no!!! no!!!! these two fuckers insist on doing at least one thing a year in the public eye with each other no matter how insubstantial FOR THE NEXT DECADE !
not only that. they can’t shut up about each other! like literally shiny-eyed gushing about each other when they’re not taking the piss
and just when you think maybe they’re not friends anymore maybe they’ve moved on
they do something like Shakespeare Live or Big Finish or just appear at a convention together and it reiterates the fact that nope, these two assholes are friends 4 life and we are so lucky to love them and to experience it
basically we are the most #blessed fans on the planet
the end
it is The Year Of Our Lord 2018 and Tate and Tennant have done TWO MORE THINGS TOGETHER since i made this post in September 2017 and might I remind you all that while she was faffing around on Ducktales she was writing the two of them of a fucking sitcom ok goodbye
ultimate shipper challenge: [¼] ‘everyone can see it’ ships
SOS y’all my MAAN files got corrupted can anyone help me out by directing me to somewhere where I can download it again
My two cuties are holding hands, i love it
I love Donna’s face. It’s like: *gasps* You giant spacedork, that’s a water pistol.

Catherine Tate on chemistry with David Tennant
Audience Member: I wondered if there was an actor or actress that you would love to work with or a celebrity crush that you would love to work with?
Catherine: To be honest, I'm a bit superstitious like that so I wouldn't say who I'd like to work with. I just like to stalk people until I'm told to leave. But actually, the most magical thing happens like... like me and David, right? I didn't know David before [we] worked together. [...] I'd seen him [at the National Theatre], I'd seen him on TV and I'd seen him in lots of plays. And I thought he was an absolutely fantastic actor but I never knew we were going to work together. And then when we did and we got this kind of chemistry going... that's the most magical thing. [...] I never actually thought I'd work with David but when I did get the chance there was this sort of spark that was so brilliant.
