Stop spreading hate about the police officers. MOST OFFICERS ARE GREAT. They are great at their jobs and make their communities safe. There are some officers out there that are horrible and abuse their power, THOSE ones don’t deserve to wear that badge on their chest. Police brutality (in the situations where it actually exists) is starting to get out of hand and the bad officers need to be held accountable. But we also need to remember that officers need to be able to protect themselves from the criminals and rioters that do actually have the intention to harm the officer without worrying about the damn media blowing it up and twisting it to look worse than it is.

All in all, its just a few bad apples that rot the bunch and give them all a bad reputation. Its kinda like pit bulls. Pit bulls, when raised and taught right, are amazing and loving dogs that are very loyal to their family (not to mention they’re also big clumsy goofballs lol). Its the few aggresive pitbulls that you hear people talk about and the twisted media stories that makes the entire breed out to look like insanely dangerous and blood thirsty demon-dogs.

if you have 100 good cops and 1000 bad cops and the bad cops march brutalize civilians and the good cops do nothing but stand by and watch, not even making an effort to help people or stop the abuse, you have 1100 bad cops. inaction only benefits the oppressors, police are a byproduct and evolution of slavery there are no good cops

You say there are 100 good cops for every 1000 and then contradict yourself and say there are no good cops. That’s like saying all Germans were Nazis in WW2, and those that weren’t (like the ones who harbored those being hunted and killed) aren’t worth being mentioned because it doesn’t fit your argument.

Yes things have to be done. This has to be fixed. At this point any solution is better than nothing, so if you want to abolish the average police department sure, go for it. I’m mostly just pointing out a logical fallacy that a lot of people seem to have. Argue thoughtfully, not emotionally. Emotions are subject to being discredited far easier than a real, factual, logical stance.
