in some other dimension, i don’t know which one yet, the powerful osbornes are replaced by the atvists and oscorp industries is replaced by axiom.
r– atvist is raised by his two parents who are into cult shit and moved to the hills of missoula, montana, abandoning the fortune his grandfather makes as the CEO of axiom in nyc.
both of r–’s parents die in a house fire. no one can exactly prove that their child caused the fire ( he did ) so r– becomes his grandfather’s ward at 16. he is moved to nyc to live with his grandfather and becomes the heir to axiom.
before his grandfather can die, though, r– is exposed to the goblin serum that has been created by axiom’s head scientist. in this dimension, the goblin serum flat out kills r.
he comes through, though, as a zombie, trashes the lab, kills the head scientist, and makes away with the goblin suit and glider.
as he starts to regain his composure, learns how to manage his hunger, and how to pass in the world. he has no recollection of who he is or where he came from, only that the things he needs to get by are in that axiom lab. namely pumpkin bombs and razor bats.
the serum does grant r an elevated level of endurance, speed, reflexes, strength, and intelligence ( at least enough for him to construct more pumpkin bombs and razor bats and to fix his gear ). obviously due to his undead state, he is hard to take down. only a blow to his brain can kill him.
he’s much less of a supervillain as the other goblins and more of a general nuisance. people go missing off the streets of nyc even more frequently now to satisfy the r goblin’s hunger. he does some other sketchy shit like burning buildings down.
absolutely unhinged and dirty in a fight.
known simply as “goblin” instead of the other variations of the goblin.
he doesn’t go out of his way to pester spider-people. if the spider-people show up to bug him, it’s fair game.
