Did you know that you can make your #lips insanely #plump by forming a vacuum around the top of a glass bottle and suctioning them in one at a time? You do now. It lasts a few hours if you do it enough. Here are the three stages: 1. Your lips are their normal size. You heard that you can get a temporary trout pout. You try it. 2. Your lips look too big for your face. You can't talk properly. You find these things HILARIOUS so you show everyone you know. 3. Your lips shrink to their normal size. They are now very bruised. You regret your actions but will probably repeat them for the comedy value. So, if you feel like a temporary pair of inflated lips sound like fun, give it a try- but I'm not kidding about the bruising. I'm getting a pair of Ugg Sutter boots for Christmas. Unnecessarily excited to have toasty feet.

Outfit of the (working) day. It’s getting cold now, so layers and warm colours are my friends. Now that it’s winter I’m making the most of my lovely Lily Lolo blusher which, although listed as peach, is actually a fetching shade of burnt orange. As you might expect, it makes a lovely contrast with blue eyes. My boots, which you will have seen before, are from San Marina’s Winter 2011 collection and I love them as much today as I did when I bought them. The dress and jacket are both from Primark; as soon as I saw the dress I had to buy it because it’s a lovely magnolia colour and I think it will come in handy during every season- it’s lightweight, great for layering and the pattern is simple enough to mix with other fabrics. I’ve no idea where the scarf came from (other than my sister’s wardrobe!) but I’ll update this if I find out. Now, the jumper- that jumper- is pure cashmere and very, very comfortable. It’s a bit see-through becase the wool is so fine, but it’s fine as long as I wear something under it that isn’t too “LOOK AT ME!” from the outside. I bought it, and two other cashmere jumpers, from TK Maxx at the weekend and I’m so pleased with all three. The brand is Clements Ribeiro. I love the stars on the sleeves, they’re a sweet little surprise when I take my jacket off (if it ever gets warm enough…) and they make me feel all Christmassy. The main colour of the jumper is one of the shades that fit into the category that I call ‘vintage pink’- it’s a mellow colour, nice and soft, but not at all sickly. I love pale shades at this time because the cold light makes my skin very white and anything too dark makes me look a bit washed out. By wearing shades like this one I can just pop on a little bit of nude lipstick like the Lily Lolo shade pictured, dab on some of the aforementioned blusher and I’m ready for the day!

Completely stunning Kurt Geiger high tops- and they're not wedges! They were originally priced at £120 but I got them for a cracking £29 in the sale. They even have decent arch support. Trainers are not worth having if they're not garish.

Today I wore them with bare legs, a short, purple paisley dress and a denim jacket. I'd post a picture but I went for a massage so my hair is an oily mess, so I'll have to recreate the outfit another time for you lovelies.

If you're wondering where I've been, I've recently secured a proper job so I'm sorting all my documents for that. Rest assured that I will post plenty more once I start getting paid!

A slightly better picture of today's #hair and #make-up than the last attempt! They Are Wearing: Paris Couture Week

I love this outfit in itself, but there are a couple of ways to improve it:

1) Sunglasses that pick up one of the accent colours from the skirt.

2) A sleek updo, because this flat, relaxed thing only looks worse as the day goes on. Just a simple chignon or something would keep it tame and clean, to go with the white clothes.

I also really don't like the clear bag because it looks messy, but that is personal preference. A see-through bag that big should only be used at the beach, in my opinion.

Remember I said that the number of cat items you sport goes from cute to creepy far more quickly than you might expect? Here's an example.

People think my hoodie is cute. People think my bottle is cute. Put the two together and I'm either an overgrown child or too fond of cats (I'm both).

Don't make my mistakes! You're far too precious to lose into the cat pit.
