What this actually is: A vignette from the ancient Egytian funerary text known as the Book of the Dead. The royal scribe Nakht and his wife Tjuiu in their garden worshipping Osiris (seated) and Maat (standing). The humans and deities overlook a pool surrounded by trees (c 1300 BCE).
