along with just recently making a name for herself in music, lani was the proud owner and sole artist of a little tattoo shop in the heart of new york city called ‘x ink’. upon hearing the soft chime that rang when the door opened, the brunette looked up from her phone, “ hi, welcome in! ” she called out over no doubt's 'spiderwebs' playing through the studio as she stood up and made her way out to the lobby.

it was pretty evident why spencer had invited noelle over - it was the same reason he invited any girl over : he wanted her to end up in his bed that night . of course , they had been doing this for long enough that he assumed she knew that already . noelle was a frequent escapade of spencer’s , perhaps one of his most frequent - something that baffled him considering the amount of times he’s been a complete ass to her ( at least he was self-aware , right ? ) . maybe the only reason why he hasn’t ghosted her yet is because she hasn’t given up on him . spencer knew he wasn’t exactly being clever when he asked her to come over for a swim - it was all a ploy to see her in a suit . maybe it was a bit of a dick move , but it wasn’t anything he hasn’t seen before . running a hand through his unruly curls , he whistled as she walked out of the bathroom , “ god damn , “ the boy took his sweet time looking her up and down , “ remind me to ask you to come swim more often . “ motioning for her to follow , he led her out to the balcony where the hot tub was . in one swift movement , spencer removed his shirt , leaving him in only his swim trunks . “ well , “ he gestured to the hot tub , “ after you , my lady . “

if noelle had a hint of self-awareness she would realize how bad of an idea this all was . but something about the way spencer looked at her ignited a feeling she couldn’t quite explain , i mean inviting her over for ‘ a swim ’ how cliche was that ? had it been anyone else she would’ve turned them down , laughed in their face if she was feeling bold enough . however , simply because it was him , she still found herself at his place time and time again . after a quick change in the bathroom , her arrival into the living room is met with his immediate attention , something she reveled in . “ you’re lucky i even decided to come over in the first place , you’d be luckier if i show up in a swimsuit again . ” her eyes follow his , you didn’t have to be a genius to realize he was tracing her figure . and with an added boost of confidence he follows her outside to the balcony , the air is a little frigid , causing her skin to slowly be prodded with goosebumps . he takes off his shirt and now it’s her turn to look him up and down , making sure her eyes don’t linger for too long . she follows his lead and steps into the hot tub , a nice change from the cold air around them . “ come in , the water is perfect . ” she says awaiting him to join her .
