Every time I find myself struggling with the costume designs of the characters I draw, I miss Operation Mincemeat more.

My friend went to see Liberation with me a few days ago and she ended up shipping Susan x Celeste. Another friend of mine went to the show today and shipped Celeste x Isidora.

Me: Yes the beautiful love triangle among three lesbians🥰🥰🥰

Here's the craziest part: two months later I became the biggest Iseleste stan. And both my two friends mentioned are shipping them as well. Probably the only 3 Iseleste shippers (or, actually, the only 3 human beings in this fandom...)

Favourite fic: It Feels Like It Means So Much More - this was the first time I've managed to set myself a fic posting schedule and actually stick to, which was such an amazing feeling! I'm also really proud of the actual story, and for convincing at least two people to join me in Jean/Hester shipping land

4. Total number of words: 25, 682! Shoutout to the above fic for really boosting that number :')

A Fic You Didn't Expect To Write: A Rose By Any Other Name - I was hoping that IFLIMSMM was going to be the first Operation Mincemeat fic I posted, then the idea to this one came to me on a walk and I wrote the whole thing in three days in some kind of haze. I blame Natasha Hodgson entirely, she knew what she was doing with that theatre tour video

24. Favourite fic you read this year: Aoife by annika_laplume (aka @hylian-prosecutor) - You know a fic is good when you find yourself sat on your mate's bedroom floor recounting the plot and reading large chunks aloud to them, someone who has absolutely no knowledge of the source material whatsoever. I've been so excited every time this fic updates, the drama is absolutely delicious and the characterisation of every character is just 10/10 incredible!

Sorry this ended up so Mincemeat heavy, I got into the show back in July and it has mostly consumed my every waking moment :')

if I had a nickel for every time there is a British TV/theatre show about MI5, which involves a very cute mother-and-daughter (not real) relationship, I'd have TWO nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's fascinating that it happens twice.
