#8.26.21 #I moved to Vancouver six years ago today #I think maybe this visa is the end of me in Canada but I’m afraid to admit it #life is terrifying

a lot has changed since I last posted here. i graduated, i work a 9-5 i want to escape, im polyam... yet. nothing has changed at all. weird to look back and see the Beginning of being in vancouver, how excited I was for it all. and now all I want to do is go home to california. things change, or maybe they don’t change at all.

some goals: -stop going to big stores and buy clothes from thrift/vintage shops -try new places, don't fall into the cycle of going to the same place every time -explore more often, at least once a month -exercise at least once a week!! this isn't a lot but are things I can actually work on, I wanna be a happier person and help more local businesses and meet new people!

these are my three fish, two of which died in the past couple days and one of whom is sick and probably dying. Two of them were rescued from a carnival I volunteered at 7 years ago, someone abandoned them leaving them to die so I took them home. the third fish I adopted two years ago in my senior year AP biology class. One time he got a rock stuck in his mouth and my dad and I performed mini surgery to get it out, he lived another year after that. I'm really sad about these guys not being in my life anymore, I wasn't expecting to have to say goodbye so soon. I love u guys, enjoy the rainbow bridge and I miss you. Also pls send good vibes to my third fish whose alone rn without his buddies of 7 years. I hope he's not in pain

people keep asking me to sell my work and I'm like... no!!!!!!! for the first time in a long time I'm making things for MYSELF aka relaxation/personal enjoyment rather than a deadline/money (which is always not enough for the effort/sentimental value) so NO!! all the things are for ME! and maybe gifts when my apt overflows with too many dishes lmao
