Happy @gxweek GX Gift Exchange, @aliothbuzzsawshark !! "Arc-V Fusion Dimension Sho" is like the most up my alley prompt ever, the second I saw it I knew I had to think too hard about him and go a little ham 💜 Hope you dig it!

To ramble a bit: there's just sooo much potential in the concept of an Arc-V Sho, especially with the way we know Ryo existed in the Fusion dimension canonly but we never see him. I had a lot of thoughts while brainstorming this, stuff like "what would a Sho who didn't have a Judai in his life be like?" and "what if Ryo had been carded and his position as a powerful duelist asset within Academia's ranks fell onto his brother's shoulders?" I could see this Sho a very inclined to conform type, even more insecure than normal and only really able to believe in himself when doing well in the eyes of his superiors. He wields his brother's deck of Cyberdarks and Chimeratechs after Ryo fell in battle (or perhaps other mysterious circumstances....) and advances to Obelisk Blue much like his GX self, but a sense of anxious dread and imposter syndrome keeps its claws tightly around his throat I imagine.

I also think it'd be fun if in this supposed AU it's Sho who duels Asuka instead of Yuri, and the two have some complicated shared history over their brothers being cards/going missing ✨ Also arc-v Kenzan!! They were friends, once. But perhaps that was a while ago....

Here’s another kinda messy drawing of my OC, Sob.

I wanted to draw a picture of him wearing red specifically for #RedInstead (the counter to Autism Speaks’ “LightItUpBlue” campaign because A$ is awful and does not, in fact, speak for the autistic community, and is a terrible organization that demonizes autism, please do not support A$), and the imagery of little red riding hood came to mind and I couldn’t really resist. 

The huge butt-bow is supposed to resemble a butterfly, btw, I hope that came across okay. :’U

This is such a fantastic Tellah, oh my god!

True story: When my brother and I were young, we persuaded my mother to play FF4, Bioware According to Mom-style.  She referred to Tellah as Mr. Natural but I don’t think there was enough room for that, so she resorted to naming him “Garcia,” as in Jerry.  Cid ended up being “Mongo,” I think, after the character from Blazing Saddles.

She never actually beat the game, but at least she learned why we felt so strongly about save points.
