Malicious Telecommunications presents ANOTHER SUBCULTURE 3

One more. Coming next week, another hour of DIY evidence from London’s newest social centre. After three years of campaigning, brainstorming and fundraising and one summer of learning how to use expanding foam canisters, DIY Space for London opened on September 17th 2015.

Between then and now, I recorded a sporadic bundle of interviews from the space’s first three months with the help of friends, bands and rum-and-Tings. The result: contributions from Priests, Andy Jones, Hate Filled Kids, Sheer Mag, No, STRIKE! Magazine, Big Joanie, Chris Bress, Total Control, membership desks, the 453 bus and people being moshed through tables.

There is also music from Actual Crimes, Bad Manifest, Border, Caramel, Cianuro, Efialtis, Gloss Rejection, SEMI and Sonic Order.

100 copies as soon as they are assembled. As always, a digital edition will follow and all money after costs will return to the space.

prepared is the newest project of kevin stebner (stalwart sons/cold water), featuring members of calgary pummelers tel fyr and vancouver’s damages. providing two tracks of hard and fast rev summer-styled jammers, reminiscent of end of a year or facel vega. veneers pounds through seven minutes of cop-hating, introspective unwound cum sonic youth-styled punk and features members of border, new armour, telstar drugs and faux fur. a split release with revolution winter.
