This is Lady Mary and Sir Cecil Chubb. In 1915 Lady Mary sent Cecil to an auction to buy chairs, but he ended up buying Stonehenge for £6,600 (£680,000 in today's money) Lady Mary was not pleased so Cecil gave Stonehenge away. Cecil was the last private owner of Stonehenge prehistoric monument, which he donated to the British government in 1918.
