Part 2 last-minute submission to @nomae-week-2024 x)
Noa stepped close.Ā
āHello,ā Mae whispered, draping her arms over his shoulders.
He studied her, eyes kind and sure. He breathed her in, pressing his forehead to hers. A reunion after a day away. Even if it had been mere hours, it was a reward to be close to her again.Ā
Her eyes slid shut.
Then he smiled and picked her up. She squealed and held onto him. Then he slowly spun her and she reached out. The sheer fabric dangling off her arms, catching in the breezeā¦
The fading light glinted off
delicate yet firm beauty,
enhancing her featuresĀ
Ones that made Noa most warm
most delighted
and most in love
Her smile held strength
her laugh volume
Freedom upon her shoulders
Like eagle flying among the sunset.
Mae giggled most adorably. She was always surprised by him.
Mae x Noa ā Sailor Song |Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes| MV
You are stronger and smarter than you think
Another Noa x Mae edit! These two are just my ultimate OTPāahhh! This was a quick edit inspired by listening to Sailor Song, and I felt it perfectly matched their vibe. It's a simple edit without too many effects, but I think it captures the mood of the song well. Plus, it's my contribution to Nomae Week. Hope you enjoy it!
Just to clarify, I don't support bestiality or zoophilia in real life. This edit is purely for fun and creative expression, celebrating the fantasy world these characters belong to. Shipping fictional characters is a common and enjoyable part of fandoms, and if it's acceptable for movies like "Beauty and the Beast," then it's also fine for Noa x Mae!

Summary: On a quest for more books, Noa and Mae find themselves at Proximus' abandoned kingdom where they spend a night at Trevathan's library reading anything they can get their hands on. Everything was going well, until Noa finds a book filled with fairytales of humans and animals falling in love with each other.
My contribution to NoMae week. I love this ship so much, and it has been lovely seeing what everyone else is sharing. From art, edits, fanfics, and music videos, you are all so talented! š

posting day 4 of @nomae-week-2024 early because i'm gonna to be out of town for work. this one was fun. I love the movie we got, but i was very invested in some of the early theories for kotpota.
Rest assured Iām dedicated as ever to this little community, and though Iāve had to take a break from actively posting, I HAVE been learn on how to do some pretty cool things. Like 3D renders! Because three years is a lot of time to wait for a sequel.
I do plan on doing the prompts from @nomae-week-2024 . Just probably not all in the weekā¦
No promises on timelines because I think thatās tempting fate, but things are leveling out in my life enough that Iām sure I can get back on track with everything.

happy first day of @nomae-week-2024! i definitely procrastinated on this one, but just use your imagination to fill in the gaps and pretend its purposefully abstract.

Just a Noa/Mae drabble I came up with this evening, I might continue it š¤

It had been approximately three months. After she left Noa that day, she couldnāt stop thinking about him, the way she felt protected with him around. She wished she would one day by coincidence stumble across him, remembering how she wasnāt really welcome back with the humans due to being immune to the simian flu but still at risk of carrying it, she felt more alone than ever and missed Noa terribly.
She clung onto the symbol that Noa gave to her with one hand as it rested against her chest. She held onto the reigns tightly with the other. She was riding through the forest in the hopes of finding a safe place to settle for the evening.
She took a deep breath and looked up at the trees as she travelled, the golden sun rays shone onto the ground and danced with the movement of the leaves. Looking to her left, she saw the faint sparkle of a river.
Slowing her horse down to a stop and dismounting, she walked over to the riverbank and looked around, listening to the gentle flow of water along with the birds singing. She closed her eyes, and the golden shimmers sparkled onto her face, but she still struggled to shake Noa from her mind.
Unknowingly to Mae, Noa was close by, he dismounted from his horse and looked around, making sure that it was safe to camp out there for the night.
Mae stood up, finally deciding that she wanted to bathe. She began taking off her clothes, unaware of Noa standing not too far away, and he wasnāt aware of her presence yet either.
Noa crouched down and set up his sleeping place, eventually satisfied that it looked comfortable enough, although he wasnāt too fussed about sleeping on hard ground.
He smiled with approval but stopped abruptly when he heard rustling not too far from him. Glancing up, his eyebrows quickly lowered when he saw movement. Then, when his eyes finally adjusted, he saw her, the pale skin that seemed to glow in the suns rays.
Mae slowly stepped into the river, her breath quickening with the sudden temperature change, she stood there for a moment to get used to the cold water.
Noaās eyes widened, he wasnāt sure what to do, as he stood completely still, the feelings from when he last saw her came flooding back, he scolded himself whilst remembering that she wasnāt of his kind.
He stared for a little too long, it had definitely caught him off guard, but after observing for a while, he finally made the decision to quickly grab his blanket from his saddle and walk over to her. Was it a mistake? He didnāt know.
Mae sank lower and lower into the river until all that was showing was her head, she hummed softly with relaxation. Unknowingly to her, Noa slowly edged closer, his eyes narrowing with curiosity as he watched her lean back and close her eyes as the gentle lapping of water covered her.
Noa reached the waters edge and crouched down. A feeling quickly came over him that he had never felt before and the faint sound of his intrigued grunts escaped his throat as he laid the blanket onto the grass for Mae to step out onto. Tilting his head, he was mesmerised by her. Not able to shake the urge of wanting to see more of her. he couldnāt help it. But the waters shimmers made it impossible for him to see the details on her chest.
Mae opened her eyes slowly, but luckily, the suns brightness made her squint, so she wasnāt able to see clearly. Sitting up, she gave her eyes time to adjust until she could see clear enough. She looked at the riverbank and noticed the blanket that Noa had laid out. She instantly realised it was his, and with a smile, she stepped out.
Ā
Ā Noa stood with his back against a tree, his mind racing. Experiencing this feeling he had never felt before made him question a lot of things, causing him to let out an irritated sigh. He didnāt look at her, not once. He was lost in wondering why he felt these certain feelings towards her. Scrunching up his nose and repeating the phrase;
āShe is... a humanā
Mae looked at him as she dried herself as best she could with the blanket and put on her clothes. She walked back over to her horse, but before she could mount up, Noa cleared his throat.
Ā
āstay with meā he said, still looking away from her.
āHuh?ā She spun around to face him, raising a brow.
His gaze darted from left to right until heĀ finally motioned to his camp āstay... with meā.
Mae didnāt protest. She had wanted to see him again for so long. She looked at him for a moment with a smile then walked closer to him. She knew she was naked but he was an ape, he surely wouldnāt care, right?
āI thought I smelt too terrible to be around, Noa?ā She taunted.
He smirked as his green eyes cautiously trailed in her direction but still unable to look directly at her āYou bathed... there is... an excuseā
He turned to face her, and seeing her uncovered almost made him want to pounce on her there and then. He wondered what this feeling was. Why did he feel this way for a human? He turned away and wrinkled his nose, trying to shake it off.
Mae turned and picked up her clothes, leaving Noa to his instinct, it was growing too strong for him, he glanced up at her body, the thought of him biting onto her collarbone sent him into a spin. He shook his head quickly, trying to snap himself out of it.
āSo why are you out here?ā Mae asked, but was startled when she turned back around and bumped into him. Noa had moved closer to her without her knowledge.
She looked up at him and saw his emerald eyes staring down at her. Before she could speak, the fur on his torso brushed off of her bare breasts, causing her to shudder.
She gulped uncontrollably and dropped her clothes, wondering if it was really happening.
Mae knew that this fantasy had been swirling around her mind for such a long time, but now, the feeling she had was almost too much.
Noa kept his eyes on her āyou are... beautifulā he spoke in a low gravelly whisper.
Mae didnāt reply, she stood there holding her breath and staring up at him and feeling his hand touch softly against hers, she knew that it was dangerous, but now hearing him growl as he leaned closer to her made her realise that he felt the exact same way for her.
