Finally, the day of your monthly date with your boyfriend has finally come. This time you have let him choose where to bring you and you wanted it to be a surprise so you told him not to tell you his plans. You told him to pick a place that he would love and asked him to plan activities that he loves to do the most. After your shower, you dressed up he asked you to dress comfortably and wear clothes that you can probably sweat in.
Right after getting ready, you heard him honk his car. You opened your door and saw him waiting outside his car. “y/n!!!! You look cute” his remark made you feel bubbles in you. ‘I know you don’t have to tell me’ you responded and he chuckled at your remark and said ‘ won’t you compliment me back’ while showing you a pout. “Well, you look handsome today Mr. Na Jaemin’ you responded and he gave you a forehead kiss as his way of saying thank you. He opened the door for you and you set off for your date.
On the ride on the way to the place, you can’t help but wonder where is he gonna take you. ‘Jaemin...’
‘Where are you gonna take me?’
“You’ll see” he responded as he reached for your hand while his other hand was on the steering wheel
He stopped the car in front of an orphanage and it made you wonder ‘Jaemin why are we here???’ you asked him shockingly you can’t help it but have thoughts you don’t want. Was he an orphan you thought and tears were starting to fill your eyes. He faced you with a serious face “y/n I love you, you know that right?” you nod as a response. “Do you want to adopt a child with me?” his question shocked you and you were speechless you didn’t know how and what to respond to his question. Out of nowhere, he started to laugh “y/n you’re cute” he said while pinching your cheeks. You swatted his hands and pretend that you were mad. “We’re not adopting you, dummy. I brought you here cuz I really enjoy working and playing with kids at the orphanage. It’s weird but I like doing community service. But I would want to have a child with you someday” he says while raising his eyebrows. He left you all flustered as he went to open the trunk to get some stuff. While you were speechless and trying to process what the heck he just said he opened your door. “Don’t worry I’ll wait til your ready to have a child. Let’s go”.
While doing the activities you can’t help it but observe Jaemin. You have noticed that he puts a huge smile on his face whenever he talks to the children around him. He plays and answers all the questions the kids gave him. You’re amazed at how he interacts with them like his energy is not deteriorating. Suddenly one of the kids asked him “Hyung is he your girlfriend?” the kid asks while pointing at you. “Yup! She’s pretty right?” Jaemin responded while looking at you with a huge smile on his face. “Then hyung when are you gonna marry her?” another kid asked. Jaemin laughed at the boy’s question “someday I will marry her” he replied.
After the activities you did at the orphanage, both of you went to have lunch at a Pizza place. “y/n are you tired?”
‘Hmm yeah it was tiring but I had fun I really did. Are you? Should i drive instead?’
“Nope! I’m fine those kids were my mood boosters. I really had fun today y/n im glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to bring you and do this work with me but I’m scared you might not like it.”
You smiled at his response. you’re so happy to see him like that you completely saw another side of him and it made you fall for him more. You know he has a kind heart but you didn’t know that he was this kind.
‘Lets do this again then’
His face lit up and said “Really??? You want to do this again???” You nod as a response.
“I will definitely marry you soon. Love you!” he said as he flashed the brightest smile.
