hey! I just wanted to ask whether you have any tips on how much protection is needed for women/women sex. I've tried looking online but the resources I've found are kind of vague and mostly say that the risks are far lower (but still there). Is there any kind of limit to what you should do to ~probably~ be fine? thnx

Safe wlw sex guide:

Use condoms with sex toys, especially the porous ones, and definitely when you’re switching between penetration of different orifices. Make sure to wash your toys with soap and water between sessions.

Use dental dams during oral sex.

Avoid oral sex if either yourself or your partner has a cut or sore in or around the mouth, or use a dental dam.

Wash your hands before and after sex.

Don’t share sex toys.

For anal/vaginal fisting, wear latex gloves and use a water-based lubricant.

Talk about your sexual history with your partner first.

If you don’t have or can’t use a dental dam etc, then it’s not 100% essential, just recommended. The following points are the bare minimum you should be doing:

Wash your hands before and after sex.

Don’t share sex toys unless you are using a condom (and even then I wouldn’t recommend it), and make sure to properly clean them after every use.

Although the above two points are the bare minimum, I would still recommend following the full guide above.
