Oboro and Aizawa are pirates, and Hizashi is a young noble who later becomes a witch. Here is the current character sheets to made while designing them.
Aizawa's family, or whatever, they didn't live a great life. They had to work harder than anyone else in the place they lived in to earn a couple of coins, and that wasn't even enough to live comfortably. Aizawa would work all day for his mother, and a little sister to feed. His family got a bad reputation from something bad they did years and years ago (related if Hizashi's lore....soon),and he's pretty pissed that everyone would assume his family would be the same. Nobody would stop and think that they changed. The kids would bully him, and he'll come home beat up. His baby sister would worry about him, so he train alone to stand up against them, and he doesn't want to see his sister cry again.
His mother and sister felt ill, and then he turned to stealing. He sometimes steal stuff from people, like food, maybe a bit of money, enough to hopefully buy medicine for his family. He got caught once, and they dragged him to lock him up somewhere, and by the time he was free, his mother and sister were gone.
While being expelled from the island, Aizawa stumbled upon some other people who were in the same situation as him(as in expelled from this island) while he was finding a shelter for the night. Most of these guys were a year older than him hiding in a cave, except for one, who he rarely seem him around with the group. The others viewed Aizawa as a threat, and started to attack him, but Aizawa (with the years of practicing self defense) managed to beat them all quite easily. It was clear they do not know how to fight.
Aizawa and the group kept their distance from one another. Hated eachother's guts. Sometimes Aizawa steal their food out of spite (and mostly because he was hungry).
He sometimes pickpocket them (for useful materials) and find it very amusing when the group started to get confused why their stock is going down.
He was later caught, and brought to the leader of the group.
It was that one dude that was around the same age as him. Now, able to see this person more closely, he noted the blue hair and eyes, and a white strip on his nose. The cheerful grin. The boy introduced himself as Oboro, but most people call him Ro. He told Aizawa that he's been watching him for some time, and was quite impressed with his skills and offer to him to join his group.

Mic teaches Oboro and Aizawa some magic to help them out there in the sea due to the dangerous sea monsters, and they had to fight them off eventually anyways. They only have a few crew members, and even though they have weapons, that won't be enough to protect them.
Mic gave them a spell book he taken from his father's study, not knowing it's importantance. It was said, that book was taken from someone powerful, and a "hero" in the kingdom defeated that someone and claimed the book as his prize, which now sits proudly in the middle of the room. (There was a war between ordinary people and the witches)
Next to the book, in a drawer there is another. A smaller book, full of spells. Locked away with chains (this would be important)
By the time Oboro and Aizawa sailed off (around a month or so), his father realised the prized spellbook was missing and demanded where it went.
Of course, he suspected it was the two boys. He remember seeing them often getting arrested for stealing, him and his little gang. He told the king, and the king sent out a search team for them, but they reported back that a ship was stolen, and now they were out in the seas.
The King demanded his soldiers to capture the boys. Mic, overhearung this panicked because he realised he was the cause of all of this mess.
Meanwhile, Aizawa and Oboro were getting really used to casting spells (or drawing them idk). And one of their crew members misplaced one of the spell sheets somewhere while they were docking the ship to explore an island. Unfortunately it landed in the wrong hands
These people were enemies to the kingdom. The very enemies that the kingdom defeated many years ago. And the Kingdom have something that was rightfully theirs.
So they used their advantages and began to attack the kingdom.
It was a fire spell. Crops and citizens died, and many fallen ill due to the lack of food
And Mic watched in horror, knowing that he was the cause of this.
Due to the attack, the search for the "pirates" was put on hold, it took them years for them to get back on their feet and to train their soldiers to fight, protect themselves from spells and to hunt them.
Mic was old enough to travel by himself and set his mission to find his friends
However, the ships were occupied by the king's soldiers in search for the pirates,
He lied to some dude who were in charge of the search of the pirates so he could steal a boat and set off.
In his pocket, he stolen a spell book from his father's study. If they locked it away, it probaly means they don't want it.
That same spellbook that was locked away for a reason. Mic knew this book was powerful, but was unaware of the consequences....
Mic took a couple of friends who they all agree to go out with him in search of the Pirates,
After months of searching, he'll finally tracked them down, and told his friends to wait for him as he get more supplies. By the time Hizashi came back the boat was gone, as his friends wanted revenge for what has happened to their kingdom
Which leads to Oboro's death
Hizashi was horrified by what happened and tried to approach the capsized ship. He immediately pulled out the spell book and used a spell that protects who hopefully had survived, but as soon as he finished drawing tye spell and cast it upon the rest, a curse had fallen upon him, that he was forever in some way connected to that dark spellbook (it contains dark and powerful magic) and that he was forbidden to ever speak again.
