Went out to Tasty Garden to celebrate brother's graduation! Prepare for food spam but first, start off with rose tea presented in this very cute and slick container!

Some very tasty basil-garlic grilled cheese, with freshly picked homegrown basil minced up along with garlic and mixed with some nice quality butter. Topped with shredded mozzarella and toasted to a nice, crispy texture. 👌

It's days like this that I scroll through my photos and see this, a delicious strawberry croissant, that makes me crave some more of it. The flaky croissant filled with freshly cut red strawberries in a pool of delightful cream topped with a layer of powdered sugar is honestly unbeatable. What makes me sad is they are probably all sold out at Cream Pan, the extravagant Japanese bakery in which this beautiful pastry is found.

First time trying beard papa’s cream puffs yesterday and they were delicious - the cream had a nice texture and wasn’t overly sweet like many are, sweetness level was just right! The outside was crisp and light, the perfect complement to the cream! Thanks brbfandomfeels for sharing these! (Sorry i couldn’t get a nice picture of the cream puffs, theu were gone too quick) ;)

It was wonderful catching up with my friends here at Disney Shanghai around a a big table in private room covered in Sichuan delicacies at South Beauty! Here’s a look…

While South Beauty is a chain, folks from Chengdu living here say it’s one of the best places to get authentic Sichuan cooking in Shanghai.

Finally got the chance to eat at Lee's Sandwiches today! Got baguettes(freshly baked every thirty minutes) spring rolls, and cured pork and grilled pork banh mi sandwiches( don't worry, I didn't actually eat all this, I shared !) Such a great place for delicious and affordable food. Their 10-inch sandwiches are about $4 each and made with their freshly baked baguettes, a pretty good price. And their baguettes are around $1, depending on location (cheaper than local supermarkets!). Also recommend their amazing drinks - especially the iced Vietnamese coffee and their smoothies, which come in all different flavored from avocado to strawberry.

what i say: katara is my favorite character

what i think: katara is one of the most complex, multi-faced and important characters ever written and i honestly don't think i will ever connect and empathize with a character more for the rest of my life. the fact she is allowed to be the heart of team avatar, the most maternal, feminine force on the show, while simultaneously being unapologetically angry, unforgiving, vengeful and petty is so incredibly significant. the fact that a fourteen year old girl saved the world, time and time again - the fact that the world wouldn't BE saved without her. the fact this child, this barely-teen, raised herself and her brother, lived in a world where war and bloodshed and death was all she knew, never lost hope. never gave up. the fact that this character, this young female character, could've been reduced to the Strong Female Protagonist or The Chick or even simply the Hero's Girl. but she is instead allowed to be all, and more. she is a mother and a friend, a hero and a lover, a fighter and a soldier. honestly so important i will protect and fight for katara 2kforever.

Brunch of banana chocolate and blue banana berry pancakes! Made with bisquick and added banana, vanilla, and milk(I'll link to recipe when I get on my laptop later) 🍌 Then I just divided the batter and added chocolate chips to one and berries to another. Chocolate and banana together is so good. For berries I thawed frozen berries by microwaving them. Actually tasted kind of weird and soggy and I prefer fresh berries, but microwaving frozen berries results in some of the berries liquid coming out, so it's a good way to naturally dye pancakes into a blue color if that's what you're looking for!
