My grandmother once told me, âRelationships are work, honey, and they arenât 50/50. Some days when I get up I only feel like giving 10%, then your granddaddy has to give 90% that day. But there is always 100% love.â
Leigh Ann Lunsford (via simply-quotes)
I have a feeling this will become iconic in due time. Â
Iâve watched this for like a dozen loops and I still crack up every time
Now if only, Native Americans could achieve the same at a specific hallowed sit.
This makes me super happy <333
I donât like how the caption makes out Australiaâs treatment of Aboriginal people a model.. Like they were literally stolen from their families for decades upon decades by the Australian government and Catholic Church in attempts to âbreed the blackâ out of them. So many indigenous people are displaced today even and have been disconnected from family, only having a shitty half assed apology for everything done to them. Several years ago alcohol and pornography were banned from their communities. Like even in a passing comment Australia should not be used as an example of treating Indigenous people right, even in land rights, because most Indigenous people are disconnected from their land
This is great news, but yeah â let the previous comment sink in.
When an older pharmacist talks about having to memorize 50 drugs when they were in school.
And then you tell them about Top 300.Â
Roman Dogs Names
Dog Mosaic at the Olearie Exhibit â Rome, Italy
What did the ancient Romans name their four-legged best friends? Lucius Iunius Moderatus Columella gives us a few recommended names in the section of his work on agriculture dealing with the rearing and training of dogs. Other likely sources used by the ancient Romans for dog names may have come from literature, in much the same way that people today draw on literature for naming their dogs.
