Now an archive for terms/flags we've made. Pro endo/non-disordered/spritual plurality, pro mspec lesbians/gays, we think romanticizing/fetishizing incest/pedophilia/abuse is gross. If you disagree with any of the above, tough luck fellas!
[ID. A flag with 9 even stripes. The colors, top to bottom, are black, pink, light pink, white, light green, white again, light blue, blue, and black again. End]
Made an alt Agender Boygirl/Girlboy flag becuz the other one was a bit too pale for us :P. Kinda just chopped and rearranged the agender+agender girlboy flag and our own boygirl flag, enjoy!
A gender that is an outer layer, or a "crust", that envelops another gender that's the "core". The lapisou's not the actual core, but it's not just representation either. It's sorta like a placement, in a way.
It can be used as its own or as a modifier for some other genders. For example, someone could be a lapisou boygirl with an agender/empty core, another could be a lapisou genderfluid (lapisofluid) with an androgyne core.
Also the lapisou's not really just a "veneer", mask, or a false/shallow gender, the crust is as part of the Whole as every layer. It's just not really in the same placement? ranking? hierarchy? as the core.
Lapisou = lapisan outer, meaning outer layer (malay, the languange group not malaysia's languange)
Also as i was trying to find if this has been coined i, and some others, found some "layered genders" terms that is similar but not quite what i'm looking for (notably stratogender, ptychen, and lamingender). They're more of a general "genders that are layered/have layers" than an emphasis on the "crust" enveloping a "core" so i went ahead on the coining, but maybe lapisou could be a more specific term of those.
Additionally, another helped me find fortgender, which means a gender that is an "outer wall, like a stone fort" protecting the inner, more vulnerable section, "like a village". It was a bit too specific than what i'm looking for, though it could be a more specific term that fall under lapisou?
No flag because we don't have the energy for it, but anyone is welcome to make it if they wish
[ID. Three flags, one with a four pointed star in white on the center, one plain, and one with the text "mae/mage/magis" in white. The flag has 7 even stripes, with one color actually being two colors in a 1 by 2 ratio, making the colors 8 in total. The colors top to bottom, are dark purple, slightly lighter dark purple, purple, pink-ish purple, yellow and a darker yellow, blue-ish purple, and purple-ish dark blue.
Mae/mage/magis flag, made a pretty while ago actually. It was planned to like, be posted alongside the sie/seer/sihir flag but i... havent made it.... after months still..... so.
Anyways, the full set is mae/mage/magis/magis/mageself (or magiself cuz i didnt know which i liked more), made it like, from around march i think?
A : Hey i think mae left magis backpack in the classroom, look.
B : Oh yeah, that's magis bag alright, hell of a lot of stickers as usual for mage. I'll send a text to let mage know that bag of magis is still here, mae can pick it up mageself.
When you& don't identify with any origin label (because you don't have one or because you refuse to label it), and the thought of having or being assigned one repulses you& and/or makes you& uncomfortable
We used Origin-flippant mainly but we realized there's an almost, distress?, or uncomfortable-ness, when we thought of people thinking we're [x]genic, so we wanted something that fits better
We know there are already some terms that are similar, but most of them are only like, a passing nod to the uncomfortable-ness. We wanted something emphasize that distress (plus all the ones we've seen are -genic labels, we wanted something in the same naming convention of origin-flippant)
An alt name for it could be Apothigenic, if someone else wants a -genic version. The prefix is from the Apothi- orientations, like Apothisexual (when you're Asexual + Sex-repulsed)
You could use either or both (we use Origin-repulsed but not Apothigenic for example)
[ID. Two flags, one with an image of a disk in the center and one without. The colors, top to bottom, are dark purple, green, orange, white, orange, green, and dark purple again. The disk symbol in the center is colored purple and has a white outline. End]
Tweaked the colors of the iso flags and made one with a symbol (a cd because, iso is a disk file hehe, get it? ;b) cuz i actually rlly like the original iso flag but the colors are A Little Too Bright.
So i just tweaked the iso flag's colors and called it a day. Enjoy!
okay so, a while ago (like, all the way from december 2020) i was sorta flip flopping on if i wanted to identify as genderfluid or not, i felt like it sorta fits me but also like it sorta didnt?
and it got me thinking about the -fluid of genderfluid, about how it implies, well, fluids! like a liquid. it implies a gender that does what it wants and is kinda unpredictable, which doesnt feels quite right for me
and while i was contemplating it i had a realization of oh! what about clay! its pliable instead of fluid! you could shape it and outside influences could also shape it, and so i made this!
[ID. A five striped flag reminiscent of the genderfluid flag. The colors, top to bottom, are dark cream, grey-tinted white, brown, brown-ish dark grey, and reddish brown. End]
Genderclay - a gender similar to genderfluid, but has an element of control to it, more pliable rather than fluid ; a gender that is changeable, moldable, and/or pliable, that you can shape yourself, or be shaped by outside factors
The browns are for clay and the diversity of genderclayness, coming from different colors that clay can look like.
The grey-tinted white can be for clean clays that are factory made, for (gender)clayness that feels "newer", or for (gender)clayness that feels like its still very pliable and never been baked
The brown-ish dark grey can be for natural clays that came directly from the earth, for (gender)clayness that feels "older", or for (gender)clayness that feels like its baked and solid
particularly for genderclays who has a more active role in their moulding of gender(clayness), it also has an element of creation and an element of choice to it, so it could be somewhat placed under CINN (maybe ill make another subset for gclay thats in the same naming convention of other CINN genders)
i got some genderclay subset ideas but no names as of yet, [names] in brackets are not the actual names i just wanted to put something in
gender[claybaked], a subset of genderclay where your gender was once pliable, but now is no longer pliable or its now settled into a firm shape, sorta like baking clay
gender[ ], a subset of genderclay where your gender(clay) is never going to harden/is incapable of hardening, it exists in a forever pliable state, prime for moulding
gender[play-doh], a subset of genderclay where your gender(clay) has a more fun element to it, like the action of moulding it and shaping it is rewarding and/or fun, like play-doh
gender[dirtclay], a subset of genderclay where your gender is more influenced by outside factors or came to be/came from outside influences OR a gender(clay) that feels old and more like it is/it was a part of nature, like dirt clay
notes:
i first put the clay- in front it but i changed it cuz i found theres already a claygender, plus the naming is more similar to genderfluid now
difference between claygender and genderclay would be "gender related to clay" and "gender that has attributes/characteristics reminiscent of clay". id also put it in the same boat as genderfluid actually, genderfluid more liquid-y + "does what it wants" and genderclay more pliable + "have to be shaped"
people are welcome to make more subsets if they want to! also you dont rlly need to credit me if ur gonna use it for urself (though it is appreciated), just dont claim ur the one that made it and we're good ^__^
[ID. A seamless pattern reminiscent of an arcade carpet. It's in aro-ace colors, with a dark blue as the background and squiggles, triangles, dots, spirals, and little squares in blue, white, yellow, and orange. End]
mmmade a seamless aroace arcade carpet pattern if anyone wants it :]
Made a boygirl flag and a matching(ish) man-woman flag :]
[ID. Two flags, the first with a male-female gender symbol in center front and the second without. The colors, top to bottom, are light purple, blue, light blue, tinted white, pale pink, pink, and light purple again. End]
Boygirl/Girlboy – Being both a boy + girl, connected to both boyhood + girlhood, or having an identity so interconnected it cannot be separated.
[ID. Two flags, the first with a male-female gender symbol in center front and the second without. The colors, top to bottom, are purple, red, pink, tinted white, blue, darker blue, and purple again. End]
Man-Woman/Woman-Man – Being both a man + woman, connected to both manhood + womanhood, or having an identity so interconnected it cannot be separated.
wanted a boygirl flag for myself and thought id make a sorta matching man-woman flag thats bolder/darker while the boygirl one was softer/lighter :] (and with purple. dont forget the purple)
no fancy meanings just blue for boy/boyhood, pink for girl/girlhood, red for woman/womanhood, (darker) blue for man/manhood, purple for the combination of boy+girl/man+woman and the interconnection of them into one identity, white (slightly tinted with purple) just because i think it looks nice
[Edit. boywoman + girlman flags are in the reblog]
I FORGOT abt this but someone in a server im in asked for boy+woman girl+man flags and
Boywoman/Womanboy!
[ID. Two flags, the first with a male-female gender symbol in center front and the second without. The colors, top to bottom, are purple, red, pink, tinted white, light blue, blue, and purple again. End]
Girlman/Mangirl!
[ID. Two flags, the first with a male-female gender symbol in center front and the second without. The colors, top to bottom, are purple, dark blue, blue, tinted white, pale pink, pink, and purple again. End]
really i just kinda spliced and mushed the boygirl n man-woman flags together so.
[ID. Three almost identical flags. 6 stripes, top to bottom, 2 variations of indigo, 2 almost-identical shades of magenta, 2 shades (orange and yellow) making amber. The first has a turquoise greek symbol of v inside a white circle outlined with the same turquoise, the outline continues into a thin stripe for the middle of the flag. The second has only the turquoise v symbol without the circle or the thin stripe. The third has only the turquoise middle stripe without any symbol. End]
Nonamory - a lifestyle choice that does not include intimate, long term partnerships
I wanted to try my hand at a redesign of the nonamorous flag cuz i was bored rlly like the original color meanings n wanted it to better match the description ^___^
Original meaning still applies (with a few changes) :
Indigo - Integrity of nonamorous folks shown towards ourselves in spite of social pressure to enter into monogamous relationships
Magenta - Compassion and solidarity with members of our own community + others who struggle against the pressures of an amatonormative society, and the harmony we can achieve outside of "traditional" long-term partnerships
Amber - The joy, independence, and confidence we harbor both in non-monogamous relationships and with ourselves, freedom in the self
Turquoise - Healing and self-sufficiency we find in, and as, a community despite living in a world that treats us as "incomplete" for not seeking out a monogamous partnership
Greek symbol v - Adventureousness and creativity in how we relate to the world, to represent how nonamory has long been in "uncharted waters" in terms of general awareness, and also acceptance of how we choose to approach our close attachments
(Also some other things)
Ratio of the simplified one - 8 : 8 : 7 : 2 : 7 : 8 : 8
Symbol font - Bodoni MT italic (with added thickness by bucket tool)
