So after a few months of contemplation I've decided that the hiatus will be permament. It'll be more weight off my back now that I have more real life issues like getting into college and general future plans, and my interest in LOK in general has been waning a lot the closer we've gotten to Season 2 (anyone who follows my personal might've noticed a complete decline of anything LOK-related there too). This blog was started on a whim anyway, so it seems appropriate that it goes out the same way.

I realise that this is unfair to anyone whose currently roleplaying with me, or wishes to roleplay with me, and for that I genuinely am sorry. However, it's about time that I be selfish once in a while and think about what's better for my enjoyment and health than what is better for the satisfaction of others. Roleplaying for a fandom I no longer have any interest in, especially one so steeped in vitriol and near-unhealthy levels of self-pity, with opinions that I nearly always find myself at odds with, is not what makes me happy and would serve only as an unwanted distraction. I'm sure that anyone who wishes to RP with an Amon can find other versions of him around here that would be just as good or better than my version of him.

I'm not going to delete this blog because some of my gifs and graphics and such are on here (as well as for anyone that might be interested in my old threads). Feel free to unfollow since I won't be posting anything else here.

It was nice knowing and roleplaying with you all while it lasted. I hope you all enjoy yourselves <3

"You're a rotten driver," I protested. "Either you ought to be more careful, or you oughtn't to drive at all." "I am careful." "No, you're not." "Well, other people are," she said lightly. "What's that got to do with it?" "They'll keep out of my way," she insisted. "It takes two to make an accident." "Suppose you met somebody just as careless as yourself." "I hope I never will," she answered. "I hate careless people. That's why I like you."

"WELL ESCOOSE ME." He places his hands on his chest and put his hands up. "Tsk rude, BUT I will be serious here, like right now, rude." He crossed his arms and said, "I didn' like her one bit either, I thought she was a butt since well you know SHE RUINED EVERYTHING BUT we like, it was some weird boat trip to return home and stuff, we ended up talking and it was weird." He whispered, "It was like she was a people, it was weird."

“A boat? My home before Republic City was in the Earth Kingdom mainland, why would you require…” Amon’s voice trailed off as he remembered the ‘Amon’ he had met before, a man who had been of Northern Water Tribe origin instead. He had to wonder if there were any other counterparts to himself who were actually similar to himself.

“I’m well aware of the fact that the Avatar is a person too- an obnoxious, reckless, dense one that I could hardly imagine myself ever having an attraction of any sorts to.” The same (unfortunately, he thought) didn’t seem to be the case for his more frivolous double.

“Oh, you’ve done nothing wrong, sir,” she assured him. “It’s just the painting isn’t coming along as I expected, mainly because the pose just isn’t you.” The artist sighed and shook her head.

“I just need to take a quick breather and figure this out.” To think she had planned on attempting to paint him ever since joining the movement and now Aquene couldn’t figure out what pose to get him in.

Spirits, she was pathetic.

"I wouldn't worry about it. We can take all the time that you require if we really need to." Amon wasn't entirely surprised to find that the chosen pose was the problem, considering he hadn't felt comfortable at all splayed out across the couch like that.

"Though, if we are taking a breather, may I request that I be able to go and get something to drink? My throat's rather dry." He could help her puzzle out a solution to her problem once he had refreshed himself a little.

Forcing herself to steady when she sat up fully- she waited for the vertigo to settle enough to move. Sitting on her knees she made out where he was and looked down figuring out how she could maneuver over to him. “Yes sir- I just need..” She paused to breath so she wouldn’t get light headed again. “I just need a moment. My legs aren’t wanting..” She closed her eyes. “To work right yet.”

Taking a few deep breaths feeling the thousand tiny needles shooting through her nerves as her legs tried to wake up, she managed to scoot and maneuver over.

As Inia made her way over he adjusted himself so he was sitting properly on the ground rather than on his knees; an impressive feat considering any sudden movements made his head spin. The disorientation hit Amon especially hard after he had trained so long in maintaining a sense of balance and stability.

Eventually he felt her next to him and he groped around in the darkness until his bound hands found hers. "Only one of us can try and untie the other at a time. Would you prefer I tried, or would you rather have the first attempt?"

“Sure thing, I’ve got two bookcases in my room full of them.” Tsuri smiles, “I could get started on a dessert.” She stands up and reaches for the flour sack on a shelf.

"Thank you. I'll have a look at them later." With that he lapsed into silence as he began to prepare to cook the meat, heating up a wok and adding small amounts of cooking oil and seasoning. While he was still aware of Matsuri's presence in the room, he was mostly concentrated on making sure he was going through the correct motions.

“They caught me a bit north of the red light district… near the harbor.” She was on her way home at the time, and let her guard down in the familiar territory. A foolish mistake she wouldn’t make again if she survived.

Fletch’s mouth went dry. “An’ they said you’d ask that.” The messenger dug something out of the folds of her clothes, and after a moment revealed a bracelet of wood carved with vines. It was smoothed with time and use to a soft gleam, and might have been pretty but for the dark stains spread across the wood like rot.

She was just a messenger and had no way of knowing all the implications of this little “gift”, but there were so many possibilities. The bracelet was distinctive enough that it had to belong to a certain individual, and Amon was apparently supposed to recognize it on sight. And he didn’t seem overly pleased. Some of his guys gone rogue, maybe?

Either way, the whole thing was sloppy. Only an idiot would use an unknown messenger to do something like this… but then again, she couldn’t exactly identify anyone. All those glowy green masks looked the same.

The bracelet didn't ring any immediate bells in Amon's mind, but he was startled to find that he did at least vaguely recognise it. Jewelry, and anything loose in general, was discouraged during work hours due to the probability of it becoming caught during fights or when handling dangerous machinery, yet he had seen the adornment around the base a few times during times of relaxation. He wasn't sure who it belonged to yet, but what he did know was that it was from one of his own.

So then why give it to him, and why was it in such a bad state? The longer he thought the more he remembered a previous meeting, involving a renegade group of murderers dressing themselves up to be a part of the Equalist faction. A warning from them, perhaps? What were they trying to tell him?

"Did they tell you anything else? Or did anything strike you as odd or noticeable in any way?" The messenger was a complete stranger to him, but if she had any more information to give on the men then it would doubtless be helpful towards discovering their motives for sending him such odd items.
