Nevertheless, she brings so much life and character to such a unique girl, that it's a shame she doesn't have as many partners as the rest of the fandom!”

Fletch shrugged, trying to subtly work some of the feeling back into her shoulder. She didn't quite smile, but her eyes crinkled at the edges. "S'alright ma'am. I've got the time." She didn't really, but it wasn't the first time she'd told that kind of lie. There was no reason to make her feel bad about needing help.

"Still, I must thank you for putting up with me," Pema smiled gratefully and nodded at the younger woman. "It's very kind of you to do this for me."

Fletch held perfectly, utterly still, like a moose-lion caught in the light of a hunter's torch. Somehow helping a pregnant woman carry her groceries to the ferry had turned into being a pillow for said woman while they waited for the boat. The woman shifted and the top of her head brushed against Fletch's cheek. She smelled like salt air and soap. The teen sighed, and prayed for the boat to arrive soon.

"I'm sorry, dear. I can just be so exhausted when I'm pregnant. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
