Trans Hux headcanons!

I have a very strong love for trans hux and it’s just a default headcanon for him

-Armitage was a name his father gave him when he insisted at a young age that he did not want to be called by his deadname and he wanted a more masculine one -He hates the name but it is still his own -In his teen years while he was in the academy he binded unsafely for one day and he knew he needed an alternative -His first binder was one he made himself that wasn’t the best but it worked for the three months he had to wait for a holiday break -A seamstress back at home fashioned him one that was more efficient and flexible and he absolutely adored it -He was very strong and not at all weak-willed when he would do combat training in the academy -He started testosterone around the time when he became a lieutenant which was his early to mid twenties -His features became more sharp, his voice deeper and menacing  -In his current state as general he has yet to get chest surgery because he knows post-op will take time away from him working -Kylo Ren becomes infatuated with the young general and finds him to be both a prick but also someone who has many genius ideas as well as someone he can strategize with -But it is in Ren’s nature to be an asshole so he often gets under his skin by questioning his methods -Ren loves to praise Hux when they’re just laying together in bed, how he is one of the strongest men Ren has met -Ren giving the best massages when Hux gets menstrual cramps -Ren just helping him during his cycle in general even though Hux tells him he shouldn’t worry/care so much (but he lowkey loves the attention) -Just -Trans Hux

Hello there anon! I have so many headcanons lmao. Mostly I hc Kylo as a trans boy buuuut I do have some agender / demiboy hcs so without further ado: 

nb kylo changing his name bcs everyone sees ben as a masc name and it makes him uncomfortable

nb kylo wearing a mask and layered clothes bc it helps w dysphoria 

nb kylo loving aforementioned mask and clothes because it gives him so much anonymity and behind the voice modulator nobody knows how he sounds

I’ve seen ideas like transmale!kylo and “kylo who can’t take a compliment because he’s not able to believe them”

and those are great but in my headcanons there’s also options like:

- transmale!hux who when he was young experienced people around him in the academy reacting by suggesting he only wanted to live as a male to rise in the ranks faster/pass the glass ceiling/etc., or there going rumors behind his back that his father had actually wanted a boy and hux having issues because of it - as if that was the reason(which to hux it is absolutely not - the gender identity is one of the few things in his life he determined 100% on his own), and some peers were really being dicks about it, and he’s so fucking tired of it that he’s basically been threatening people to silence and changing records to go stealth for at least the past ten years by the time we see him in the movies. then when he and kylo become lovers, he’s terrified of how it will be taken when he tells, but kylo is like “so what, i wen’t from the light side to the dark side and you think i’m gonna judge or question you about gender??? at least now i know i’m not the only one here who would want to snap the neck of whoever brings up my given name” - trans!hux and trans!kylo both being stealth and then gradually suspecting oneanother but neither wanting to be “that guy” who outs someone, even though they’re rivals and kind of hate each other’s guts. rivalry gradually being put aside for some sort of hestitant solidarity, while both know the the other knows and neither quite trusts the other yet, but they keep up the rivalry charade for everyone else, while gradually falling for each other. kylo panicking/lashing out in medbay after the starkiller is destroyed, because he’s scared he’s gonna be outed, but hux understands why and has him moved to a more private facility and has the medic droids’ memories wiped afterwards. - hux having been raised in the first order/empire since birth is obviously suspicious of the intentions behind any compliment or flattery - it’s always been used for manipulation in some way or another by people that are trying to lower your defences to surpass you, or people that are trying to suck up to you to use your position in some way. hux being super suspicious when kylo or matt the radar technician compliments him on something completely ordinary, like his impeccably neat hair or something.

- kylo force choking some “old chap” of hux’s from the academy, who was visiting as an official from another ship, who he mindread was about to out hux. hux having been reallly nervous about the meeting, realizing what happened, appreciating having this hulky sithamon roll in his life more than he ever knew he could. FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF.
