And now for the OOC post I owed you guys a month ago

Long story short (edit: nvm this is long AF): I’m abandoning Finn here as a muse. I only really got into fandom RP in the first place because I was having such a hard time finding anything for my OC’s, and damn did I do the right thing. Unfortunately, as I feared, it’s a little too creatively constraining for me. I barely play this character as the character he’s intended to be, I’m wildly OOC, and I have done my own thing since day one. Whether that’s a good or bad thing… Eh. I’m not going to think too much about it. I’m under the impression that we all had a good time, and I very much hope that is the case.

What this doesn’t have to do with is you guys, who I really do honestly and actually love with every fragment of my heart, or the fandom in general because this fandom has always been a tough place and I’ve always endured. I surrounded myself with awesome people and I let that positivity inspire me. This has nothing to do with drama, because I’m too old for that shit and (barring one hiccup), idk, I just don’t attract that shit somehow. So it isn’t that.

I know how much it blows that threads will be dropped. Anything that’s high-AU, message me and we’ll talk about continuing it. I don’t see anything wrong with that. I know it’s a long shot, but if you’re interested in still RPing with me, you can find me at @blueblackjack or hit me up on Skype (IM me/send an ask for my info) and I would be glad to keep in touch! I also have a Star Wars verse for all my OC’s, so that’s something to keep in mind. I still love your interpretations/setting, it’s just the playing someone else’s character that I’m having issues with. Not to say that is a condemnable thing! Just that it isn’t working for me personally.

You guys have been amazing. Better than amazing. Earth-shattering. I don’t know what I’m going to do with this blog, but I’ll keep you posted. And I totally understand if you want to unfollow/cut ties. I know this was a long time coming, but it took me a couple weeks to get my (actual and virtual) house in order.

If you need a replacement Finn, look to @traiitxr, @bigdeal-2187, and @chasiingfreedom, who were always way better at this than me and are all around amazing fucking people to boot.
