Welcome to Nonconvember 2026!

Nonconvember is back for the second year running, as an event celebrating all things with fictional consent issues. Whether it’s fanfic, fanart, original work, podfic, or whatever floats your boat—anything goes.

The rules are essentially the same as last year: no generative AI usage is allowed, and if you believe your work counts, it probably does (though you can check out the full list from the links below). And once again, I’ll be celebrating anyone who completes all weekly or daily prompts in a shoutout at the end. I hope you all enjoy the prompts!

sry clarifiying question that the prompts can result in works that essentially be totally nsfw off the rails non con, or they could be works focused on say the aftermath of a prompt or something in between etc etc. this is the first year i’m considering participating so i don’t wanna barrel on in with something wildly inappropriate

Anything you want! Full on noncon is absolutely allowed, as is aftermath, attempts that are stopped, or even unsubstantiated threats. However you want to take a prompt, if it relates to noncon in any way, feel free to go for it.

And for what it’s worth, of 259 works in last year’s collected, 216 were tagged rape/noncon. And of those, 171 were rated Explicit. So definitely don’t be afraid to go all in and write something graphic. But on the other end of things, 13 works were even tagged No Warnings Apply. And that’s totally chill too. Whatever you’re inspired to do.

stupid q but what does Bottom Aggressor/Top Victim mean?

Not a stupid question at all; I’m happy to clarify!

So normally, when someone generally thinks of a basic standard rape scene, the person penetrating (“top”) is the aggressor and the person being penetrated (“bottom”) is the victim. This prompt reverses those standards.

This isn’t exclusive to sex acts that are actually penetrating, either, and can be done with any combination of genders. To give some examples, you could have: a man giving another man an unwanted handjob, a woman forcing a man to penetrate her, or a woman giving oral to another unwilling woman.

Are teenagers allowed to join in the event? (I say "teenagers" here because it's a little more specific than "minor" since the latter can get incredibly broad.) I understand if not, it's a reasonable boundary to have. I just personally have an interest on this kind of whump and thought the event was interesting.

The subject matter being what it is, all participants need to be at least 18. Now, 18 and 19 are teenagers, so they would be allowed… but if you’re younger than that, please stick with safe for work prompt events until you do turn 18.

That said, I’m not checking IDs. It’s an honor system, and I trust everyone to write to their own individual comfort and maturity level.

Hello!! I am excited about this event and I have a question!! For the completionist, if I wanted to write a fic for each week, do they have to come from the corresponding weeks or could I write four using any of the prompts? Because week three has quite a few prompts which spark my creativity. Thank you for running this, I'm feeling motivated to write for the first time in a while :)

For completionist, it would need to have a prompt from that week. So one work with a prompt from week one, one from week two, one from week three, and one from week four. (Since week five is so short, I don’t require anyone to write for it, unless they’re doing daily completionist.)

That said, though, you’re able to use more than one prompt in a single fic if you choose—you just can’t submit it for two separate days. Which means if you’re doing weekly and want to combine all of week three’s prompts into one work, feel free to!

What’s not allowed would be, say, writing a single fic with two prompts and trying to submit it for two separate days. One work counts for one day, no matter how many prompts are in it. But you only need one day per week for weekly completionist. And that’s if you want to do completionist at all—if you’d rather only write a few fics, that’s totally fine too, or if you want to write one for the other weeks and then more for week three, that would also be totally allowed.

i know it's still super early so i don't expect them now, but i'm wondering how far in advance you intend to release this years prompts? if the event is going ahead again this year, it's nice to have an event for this

Yes it’s going ahead this year! Unfortunately my dog died recently which kind of threw a loop in my plans, but I aim to post the prompts on July 1. Hopefully that’s enough time for everyone!

Just in case the UI update makes this website unusable (or this account gets shadowbanned somehow because of its content—I don’t think it’s likely but just in case), I did create a subreddit for Nonconvember! I know Reddit sucks, but it’s one of the few places where hosting this event for fictional noncon isn’t against the terms of service.

You can find it at r/Nonconvember. It’s pretty bare-bones right now (there is nothing in it), but I’ll eventually update it with the same information this blog has going forward. (Aka, the rules, FAQ, and prompts.) There’s no need to migrate; I will still be updating here too as long as the website remains functional! This is just another option.

(Ps: prompts for 2026 have been created. I haven’t shared them yet because more than six months in advance feels… excessive, but if you want them so that you can get a head start, just let me know and I’ll send them to you lol. The list will be officially released sometime around May, but I’m 95% sure it won’t change.)

Nonconvember 2025 is officially over, and it’s time to start thinking about 2026.

This was the first year for the event—and my first time running something like this ever—and I would love to hear from you all how it went. I would really appreciate if you could take this anonymous survey to let me know your thoughts. No questions are required, so only answer what you want to.

i learned this existed when the event was almost over! are you doing it next year? if so, when do you think you'll release the prompts, like next october or earlier? (earlier would be nice but that's just because i'm sad for missing out lol)

I’m absolutely doing this next year too! I plan to release the prompts around mid-September, like I did this year. Possibly earlier (if I have everything picked out and sorted by then 😅).

Also, the prompt collection will stay open until January 1, and you can use the prompts at any time, even after then, if you feel inspired! Don’t worry about finding it late—and I’ll see you next year :D
