Random reflections

So I did a journaling exercise back in January where I had to write a reflection of my lifeview at the current moment. Almost exactly 6 months later, I reread it and wanted to share:

Honestly, I’m not really sure why we’re here. This is the question we have been trying to answer since of the beginning of human existence. I think I’m here to learn things, share my gifts, make an impact and ultimately make people think. I’m fascinated by thought and perspective; how innovation and new ways of thinking can usher in culture shifts and define how generations to come will say and do things. I believe in family and community but I’m not sure if I believe in country, especially those defined by colonial governments that have ultimately shifted society for the worst. Good and evil are subjective and perspective-driven but ultimately I think good exists where there is free energy exchange and evil exists when energy is stifled, where there is suffering because we can no longer be our true selves. I do believe in a higher power - the energy that exists within me, within all of us, beneath the earth and above the clouds, our shared identity, the things that make us different, the things that make us the same. The energy that preserves the natural order of things while also allowing space for evolution. The life force that drives our passions and allows us to tap into our unique purpose and perspectives - who we’re meant to become.
