Presenting King Hubert, the saddest guy I've ever made~💖
I saw this c. 1616 wine cup that has a tiny engraving of 3 lions with sad old man faces wearing crowns. They bewitched me so thoroughly I had to make one I can hold in my hands

Important rules for the "age verification" era of the internet that we're living in:
1. Do not do age verification.
2. If you have to do age verification, cheat. Do not under any circumstances give them your real ID.

accidentally said "invasive thoughts" instead of "intrusive thoughts" today and actually I think I'm onto something. this thought does not belong here and it is harming the local ecosystem
i wrote a song about what it feels like to wait for your enemy to give you a good enough reason to pull the trigger
Lyrics below the cut:
Hawaiʻi is currently in the midst of a natural disaster if you didnt know
Apparently there isn’t much news coverage of this outside of the islands
Towns are flooded, homes destroyed and collapsed, roads collapsed, lives at risk, gas leaks from the flood damage
Haleiwa and Waialua are currently evacuated because the 120 year old dam is at risk of bursting
Mind you that damn is owned by Dole. Theyve known about it needing to be fixed for years and years and years. Despite having more than enough money they refuse
The state has been trying to buy it out from them for years so they can fix it, but the sale hasn’t gone through
Keep in mind that the Dole family were the ones who illegally imprisoned Queen Liliuʻokalani and illegally overthrew the monarchy.
If I see another goddamn person say how sad this is for the tourists whose “trips were ruined” and compare a messed up vacation to people losing their homes, belongings, and livelihoods, I’m going to lose my mind
I am so lucky that my family or friend’s are safe and the few whose houses flooded didnt have it too bad, but so so so many were not as fortunate
If you haven’t heard anything about this until now, I suggest looking into it
The sirens didn’t go off until the flood had been going on for hours. Our state government is spending so much money on a fucking monorail we don’t need rather than fixing the infrastructure.
It’s been the locals and Kanaka doing the most to help get people to safety from the start
I don’t really know how to end this
I just need to know people are aware
I need to know people are seeing whats happening
"Don't take this storm lightly," Hawaii Governor Josh Green warned on Saturday, as more rain is expected on Oahu and Maui.

QUESTION!!

FANTASY
MAGICAL REALISM
Ok so for those who are familiar with my work, i.e. Prague Race and Tiger, Tiger- I'm currently writing a new comic and I keep changing my mind about the setting, so I wanted to ask you for your opinion...
Are you more interested in pure fantasy (like Tigers is, sort of) a story set in it's own world?
Or are you more interested in new weird, or magical realism that Prague Race sort of was in the beginning (before they jumped into the fantasy world)? BECAUSE on the other hand, I'd love to make a fantasy story where there's a ton of unexplained, lot's of weird designs and gods and whatnot, but on the other hand I just want to draw a character standing at the bus stop with Aldi plastic bag, and then the weird start happening.
This story is about a thief, and it could be put in either of the settings. I'm just in love with them both, they have their pros and cons, magical realism is intriguing to me because I LOVE to mix the weird with the daily life, and the feeling of the world having a veil that you can lift to take a peek into the mysterious is just so delicious...
Also I want to make "normies" read my stuff. I want it to appeal for a big range of people, because I have Things so say and the more people pick the book/webcomic up, the better. I want people to change the way they see the world, I am telling stories because this is my soft propaganda lmfao! So sometimes low fantasy is easier to pick up, you know? But the pure fantasy is fun because then every panel could be filled with the unexplained wildness. Tigers is pretty much also low fantasy because there's just this one fantastical element in it (Maldoror) but hmmmmmmmm. Still.
EXAMPLE WORKS: High fantasy; Discworld inspired 100% Low fantasy; Pan's Labyrinth, Our Share of Night, Totoro etc
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AHHH
