@nora-woodsen
Ah, there you are.
Seeing the wetness around her eyes, Will reacts almost immediately, putting his on her cheeks to wipe them away. He loved her so much, and now he knew she felt the same way he did. The song warmed his heart, made it beat faster by the minute, and it was clear to him now with his fear or not that he would tell her how he felt. Will wasn’t great about sharing his feelings as well, but speaking his mind, that he was good at. As she spoke, he couldn’t help but smile brightly at her, shaking his head once more before he lets out a laugh. “I love you too, Nora.” Her words, may they be the right ones or not, made him understand. She loved him, and that was all he needed to know before speaking those three words. “Well, we’ll suck at it together, you’ll just be more eloquent about them.” He jokes, accepting the kiss that’s given to him. His hands run through her blonde hair, while his other hand rests on the small of her back, pulling her closer to him on the bench.
The blonde held his hand a little tighter and gave him a gentle smile, wishing her music and her words had made sense to him. Nora Woodsen had fallen in love with the one guy who had everything in him to break her heart, and that lingering fear of getting hurt kept her from saying those silly three words. Not that she actually had to, her composition was practically a musical ‘I love you’ expressed in all sorts of ways: the hesitant parts, the gentle ones and the ones that could no longer deny the feeling. “I love you, Will” she finally said after him. And not as a reply, not because there was need to say it. Those were simply her true feelings and if he was trusting her with his, Nora wanted to reciprocate. “I can work with that” she replied with a soft chuckle. As he pulled her closer, her arms slid up his arms and wrapped around his neck. After a moment she pulled away slightly, her lips almost brushing his by their proximity. “Our mothers will be delighted by this turn of events” she mentioned with a hint of humor. Aunt Quinn and her mom were like sisters, and they’d joked more than once that any of their children getting together would officially make them family.
Ah, there you are.
“You know it already has.” He couldn’t help but hold his smile even wider when she kisses him on the cheek, too happy by the action not to. Luckily it didn’t take him long to send off the file to his boss, Will always got his job done on time or even earlier than he was supposed to. He loved his job and everything about it, even when it stressed him out beyond belief. His eyes widened as she told him she’d play the song she wrote for him. “I’d love that.” Taking the USB from her, he went back to his computer, pushing a couple buttons here and there, then signaled her once he was about to hit play. At first he stood outside of the booth, watching her from afar, slightly speechless as her fingers touched down on the keys. Slowly, he moved into the room, pausing beside her. Finally, he sat down beside her on the bench, watching her fingers move delicately along the keyboard. It was entrancing watching her play, her fingers moved so perfectly in time, that the music flowed together in a gorgeous rhythm. For as long as the song lasted, he watched her, taken back, too stunned to speak. When her fingers stopped, his head shook and he looked up at her, still speechless. A small smile appeared on his lips while a laugh escaped him, his head still shaking. “Nora, I…I- I mean it’s…gorgeous. You’re gorgeous, and so, so damn talented. I can’t believe you wrote that, I- I really don’t know what to say.” He takes her hand in his pressing it to his heart, that was beating faster by the minute. Will was in love with this women. So, deeply in love with her.
As she played, Nora lost herself in the music, pouring everything inside of her into this particular piece. The melody filled the room and soon enough nothing outside this place existed, only Will by her side and this song that expressed in the purest way she could just how much this man meant to her. William Wolfe was her friend, her the person that always took her out of her comfort zone, the only one that pushed her to speak her mind and truly express those things she was afraid to show, and he’d become the man she fell in love with. Once she was done she became aware of the watery sensation in her eyes. Playing for him had bared her heart and soul to him, an extremely intimate and meaningful moment. “You don’t have to say anything” the blonde spoke in a gentle manner, smiling at him. When he took her hand and placed it on his chest, her smile grew. She could feel his heartbeat beneath her palm and it was a lovely sensation. Her own heartbeat probably matched that quick rhythm. “I just- You know there are things I don’t talk about, things that I struggle with, especially if it... well, if it involves how I feel” Nora began, keeping her eyes locked on Will’s “And even if I’m scared as hell about this that I feel when I’m with you, it’s also something special. I need you to know that. You are more special to me than anybody else, Will. That’s why I composed that song”. The young woman rolled her lips, struggling to find the right words to say. Perhaps her words hadn’t been the right ones, but they had been honest. Drawn by his proximity and by the emotionally charged moment they were having, Nora leaned close to capture his lips with her own.
NORA WOODSEN & WILLIAM WOLFE - Aesthetic
Ah, there you are.
will-wolfe:
[Her comment makes him chuckle and shake his head lightly, a small smile present on his lips as his thumb traces her lips] Yeah, I’m starting to get that feeling. [Completely engrossed in what he was doing, he hardly noticed Nora walk to the piano. Will had been muttering things to himself as he sent the file, cursing lightly when he saw it had a bit of time until it actually uploaded all the way to the goddamn email. He turned around to say something to Nora only to find her by the Piano. Of course she’d be drawn to that. It didn’t take Will long to get up from his seat and go into the recording studio, putting his fingers against hers from behind her] You can play if you’d like. Not like anyone’s telling you not to.
“Don’t let it go to your head” she stated before she leaned close to kiss his cheek. While Will did his work, she looked around the studio, but mostly the piano. It was an exquisite Bösendorfer, similar to the one she always used at the conservatoire de musique. That brand was in her opinion the very best, and it was a pleasant surprise to find they had one in Will’s studio. A gentle smile settled on her lips when Will stood behind her, his fingers brushing over hers. When he mentioned she could play, she immediately had an idea. She could show him the surprise she had for him “Alright. I can play the song I wanted to show you”. She searched into her purse for the USB drive that she had been planning to give him, the music file of the song was there. “But can you isolate the track of the violins? And I will just play the part of the piano”. As Will set it up, Nora sat down before the piano, slowly lifting the fall board to reveal the keyboard. She always treated instruments with immense care, with careful and gentle movements. The blonde set her hands over them, looking up to Will. She could see him from where she was sitting and she gave him a soft smile and a nod so he would press play on the track. As the violins started, Nora entered on cue, starting to play a slow melody. Eventually the tempo rose, the harmony turning more complex and beautiful. What she was playing and the accompanying strings joined into the musical love letter she had composed for Will.
Ah, there you are.
will-wolfe:
[Bringing his glass up to tap against Nora’s, Will chuckles lightly and takes of sip of the wine] Hm, I didn’t do quite so bad, I like this. Does it get a thumbs up, love? [His shoulders relax when she says she wouldn’t mind, though he can tell she’s as disappointed as he was. Will dropped down enough money for a tip and for the wine and took Nora’s hand in his own, leading her out the door] It’s just a couple blocks down the street. [It didn’t take them long to reach the outside of the studio; luckily because it was conveniently placed right in the middle of the downtown area that really anyway you went you’d stumble upon it. He took Nora aside once he got the door open with his keycard, giving her a quick kiss] I promise to make up this first date to you. It’s important to me. [He reassures her, giving her a small smirk before he steals another kiss from her. The office was just how he and his boss Lance had left it this afternoon, which was good considering Will knew exactly where to look. Technically Nora couldn’t be in here but he’d bend the rules for his new gir- wait hold on, they hadn’t even really discussed labels yet. Way too far ahead man…Getting it out of his mind, Will took them to the back where they recorded most of their work with artist. Several instruments were still in the recording room, including a piano, a guitar, drums and several mics] Okay, should be in here… [He searches around a bit and finds it, going to the computer to sit down and get the demp uploaded]
“Absolutely” she reassured him with a soft smirk. In fact Will had surpassed her expectations on the wine, which was a pleasant surprise. But there was no need to boost his ego by telling him that. After their quick toast, they both have to leave their glasses unfinished before heading out to the music studio where Will worked. Nora hooked her arm around his as the couple walked down a few blocks. The blonde was pleasantly surprised when he pulled her for a quick kiss before they enter “Don’t worry about it, Wolfe” her hand moved up to caress his cheek “Even if you blew this, I’d probably still go out with you for a second date” she told him with a mildly teasing tone. No matter what they were doing; drinking fine wine or heading to take care of business stuff, Nora enjoyed her time with Will. Even more so because eventually she would head back to Alsace, so every second counted. Nora followed him to the recording studio and while he took care of what his boss had asked of him, the girl couldn’t help but walk towards where the piano was. Her hand trailed over the fall board, almost itching to lift it up and play.
Ah, there you are.
will-wolfe:
Juliette? I know she’s your sister but in my opinion she’s always got her nose a bit too far in the air for me to take her opinion on something. I’ll let you be my Queen of Wines. [He liked the way Nora’s hand would rest against the back of his neck while they kissed, the way she smelled when he leaned in close. Her touch sent shivers down his spin, making his hairs stand on end and his heart beat faster in his chest. Rarely did this ever occur with a woman he was with, Nora was…well, she was special. He didn’t understand much french, but from what he had learned from Nora, he heard first and date, indicated she agreed with him. He smiled lightly, tilting his head at her as she spoke. Ruin the surprise? A song? Nodding his head along with her words in agreement that yes, it had started this summer, he’s interrupted by his phone. Will frowns, pressing his lips together as he checks the caller ID] Fuck. [He mutters under his breath, seeing it’s his boss. Giving Nora an apologetic look, he mouths ‘Gimme one second’ and gets up to take the call] Yeah, uhuh….uh, I’m a couple blocks out I could probably stop in and do it. Yeah…okay man, see yah tomorrow. [His boss had to pick this night of all nights to forget to put through a demo…Signing lightly, Will walks back over to their booth, biting down on his lower lip] Nora I’m sorry but…my boss forgot the put through this demo and it needs to be in by tomorrow morning. Would be mind if we ducked out for a minute and went to the studio?
A small smile appeared on her lips at Will’s words. It was nice knowing someone took her opinion in higher regard than that of the ever glamorous Juliette Woodsen. The blonde picked up her glass and raised it in silent toast before taking a sip. “Your choice doesn’t disappoint, Wolfe” she stated with an approving tone before bringing the glass back to her lips. Her eyes followed his movements as he took out his phone, mouthing a simple ‘Go ahead’ to let him know she didn’t mind he had to take the call. Once Will came back did feel a bit disappointed that their first date had to be cut short due to work-related issues. She was understanding of his situation, though. Truth be told, she would have done the same in his place. “No, I don’t mind. Let’s go” she told him with a gentle smile before she got up.
Ah, there you are.
will-wolfe:
‘Course you will, you’re the Queen of Wines from what I gather. Philipe always talks you up on your knowledge of wine. [Raising an eyebrow at the beautiful blonde, Will leans closer, reaching over to brush a loose strand of hair behind Nora’s ear, letting his hand travel down her jawline to rest on her chin. His thumb taps lightly on her skin just before he cuts the distance between them entirely, placing his lips upon hers. It’s a brief kiss, but long enough for Will’s satisfaction. He smiles while he pulls away, one last tap on the chin before he lowers himself back into his seat] A date it is then. [Again, he raises an eyebrow] Really? Do tell, Woodsen. [His demeanor changes slightly when he sees her confidence falter, letting his hand slip down to rest on to of her knee. Hopefully this would assure her enough to go on. However they are interrupted by the wine] Thank you. [Will smiles, looking down at the bottle in the cooler sitting beside the table before he looks back at Nora] I believe it too. Though you can’t deny you’ve always had a thing for me. Come on, Woodsen at least admit that.
“I believe Juliette would make an argument to say she is the Queen of Wines” she replied with a light smirk. Her sister always claimed she had better taste in anything, especially when it involved Nora. The blonde looked at him in silence as he leaned close and she found herself leaning against his touch. Will closed the distance between them and while it was a brief kiss, her hand moved up rest at the side of his neck while his lips were pressed to hers. “C’est notre première sortie” she said with a gentle smile. She appreciated the reassurance in his gesture, but at the same time it frightened her slightly that Will could read her so well. She wasn’t used to that. Nora composed herself before there could be more glimpses of her less confident side. “I do not want to spoil the surprise. It’s not something that I can show you right now, so it will have to wait” the girl explained “It’s a song” is all she said, only to sate his curiosity. She gave a thankful nod to their waiter once their waiter brought the bottle to their table. “I can’t admit to something that’s not true, Will” she stated with a light shake of her head. What she said was true, she hadn’t always had a thing for Will, that was something that began somewhere in the past couple of years “Truth be told, I’m not even sure when it started, but I became aware of it last summer”.
Ah, there you are.
will-wolfe:
Well I tasted a little before hand to make sure I got it just right and the name sounded familiar to me so, you know, of course I went with it. [Smiling at her lightly, Will handed her a menu and folded his arms onto the table, leaning towards her] So. This is a date, right? A suppose after that ah, exchange we had we would go on a date? Plus, dinner with Nora Woodsen can’t be taken lightly, I mean you asked me if I wasn’t mistaken. [He smirked lightly in that boyish, cute, Will-way of smiling that Nora knew so well. Placing a hand under his chin, he bats his eyelashes at her] Ms. Woodsen, I’d like to ask you a fairly serious quest. [He pauses] How badly will I be beaten by Father Woodsen for poisoning his most gorgeous daughter with my charms?
“Well, I’ll be the judge of that” she told him with a cocky smile. She was no sommelier, but she did have a refined palate for wines. Of course she wasn’t going to judge too harshly whatever wine Will had ordered. At his question, the blonde looked up from the menu “I did ask you to meet me, but not necessarily for a date” Nora spoke in her usual polite manner, but then her expression softened “But it could be a date” a light smile graced her lips. “I actually asked you to meet me because there is something that I would like to show you. Something I feel like I should share with you, Will”. Her confidence faltered slightly, because truth be told Nora Woodsen was nervous about that certain something. But it did feel like it was the right thing to do. In a second she regained her poise and graceful elegance. Her eyebrows moved up slightly, waiting for him to go on with his serious inquiry “I do not believe my father would beat you. I would for presuming you have charmed me all that much, Wolfe” she stated with a light smirk.

Will & Nora
"I could never say we were just friends. Because in the end, 'just' means 'only'. And you were never only anything- you were everything" [x]
I could never say we were just friends. Not by the way you set alarms off in every sleeping nerve in my body. Not by the way your body became a temple for my eyes. Not by the way I’d suffocate at the idea of you belonging to someone else. Not by the way bloodbaths would rush through my veins because my heart couldn’t tame itself. I could never say we were just friends. Because in the end, ‘just’ means 'only’. And you were never only anything – you were everything.

Ah, there you are.
I saved you the best seat in the house, love. Right here across from me. [Will stands from the booth he’d be placed in to greet the beautiful blonde. A smile is stupidly plastered on his face and he couldn’t remove it even if he tried. If he was being quite honest with himself, he’d wanted to see Nora as soon as he left her car. He wasted no time in taking her in his arms and planting a kiss on her right then and there. Reluctantly so, he does pull away, but only to sit back down in the booth so they could order] I took the liberty of ordering some wine, I hope you don’t mind. I know that whole ‘ordering for your date’ thing is a little rude but it’s a lot like the wine we drank while I was visiting.
Truth be told, Nora was feeling slightly nervous about seeing Will today. There was a reason as to why she’d asked to see him, after all, not just the mere pleasure of spending time with him. Of course, when she walked into the restaurant there were no signs of nervousness in the blonde as she made her way to him with her usual poise and grace. “Always oh so humble” she smirked as he greeted her with his usual displays of cocky confidence. The kiss surprised her a bit, though in the best possible way. She kissed him back, a hand moving to momentarily rest at the side of his neck before they pulled away. Nora couldn’t help but think that she could easily get used to being greeted by him like that from now on. “I do not mind, as long as you ordered the right one” she answered as she sat down, only half-joking. She was picky with her wines, though. That part of the Woodsen side of the family had definitely taken root in her. When he mentioned it was a similar kind of wine from the one they drank in the château, she gave him a softer smile “Then it should be alright, Will”.
