Nanbaka Character Headcanons
Pets! What sort of pets would they own?
Hajime - He doesn’t particularly care about animals but tolerates them if they’re around. Despite his neutral attitude towards them it always seems he attracts animals the most, example being Kuu.
Scara - He doesn’t like animals but does have a strange admiration for cats. They are the only animal he doesn’t completely look down on.
Rianni - ??? Doesn’t quite understand animals.
Tatsumi - DOGS. His energetic personality pairs so well with an equally energetic and loyal canine. A dog is perfect for keeping him company while he’s working on his bike and he surely wouldn’t forget to care for it when it comes begging for attention.
Koinosuke - He doesn’t quite get the appeal of having a pet but he does find animals cute. The moment he heard about the luck rabbits bring he was quick to adopt one and found himself diving head first into researching proper care for them.
Orochi - Maybe a little obvious his favorite pets are snakes. This doesn’t need much explaining but he likes that they’re quiet and relatively easy to care for. They are the perfect solitary animal for him.
Nijimasu - This one is hard for me to explain my reasoning but I think he would love having little parakeets/budgies. Those little birds just fit his vibe and maybe they pick up on him humming some of the songs he learned from his inmates.
Damian - Despite his large stature he has a huge soft spot for small animals. His personal favorite is guinea pigs and he is very diligent about how well taken care of they are. While he loves any kind of small animal he gets scared of touching anything too small in fear of accidentally hurting them. He prefers fluffy pets that are meant to be looked at rather than touched.
Samon - He doesn’t have time in between work and training to take care of a pet but he does really love dogs. They’re the best to exercise with and he admires their undoubtable loyalty.
Kenshirou - It’s obvious enough that he’s a dog person through and through. Not only are they smart creatures and easy to train but he loves the companionship that comes with having them around.
Kiji - He strongly dislikes any fluffy animals because of the amount of fur they shed. Debatable whether he’d want to own any pets at all but I think he would enjoy reptiles, especially a bearded dragon. He doesn’t care for the amount of upkeep they are but he admires their beauty and unique personality.
Taiga - He doesn’t have any real preference for animals, he likes them all. But his family has a cat that he has basically adopted as his second son. That kitty is his pride and joy and he has way too many pictures of it on his phone.
Tomato - Of course his favorite animal is a bunny. There’s many reasons why he likes them; they’re fun to watch and study their behavior, despite being simple creatures they each have their own personalities, and of course they’re cute.
Momoko - She loves tarantulas, a misunderstood animal for a misunderstood woman. She doesn’t understand why others are creeped out by them. She finds them cute and always handles them with care.
Shin - He’s also someone that doesn’t really care for animals, but he does like animals he can dress up and pamper. The less noisy and messy the better for him.
Mitsuru - He loves all kinds of animals and all animals seem to love him back! But the perfect pet for him is a parrot, more specifically either a cockatoo or an african grey parrot. It’s a noisy animal that helps him fill the quiet atmosphere and makes for a great conversation buddy.
Hiiro - He’s unsure if he likes them as a pet or just has a fascination with them but he really loves both mice and rats. He especially loves mice because they're not very cuddly and he loves to watch them go about their little mousey lives.
trying to post more on here with some silly character headcanons i hope everyone enjoys this! however i have a hard time coming up with prompts so i encourage anyone to send me some ideas!! because there are so many characters please specify which group of characters you'd like to see headcanons for such us the supervisors, guards, inmates, shiki, or zodiac police. and if you want to be sure your favorite character doesn't get skipped then be sure to include them in your request!!!
