CI never fails to teach me new lessons. The atmosphere and praise and worship foreal brings a smile to my face, and I never smile in general. My goal for 2014 is to be active and be an evangelist and help everyone who comes to my path. I want to help make differences/changes in peoples’ lives.

When it looks dark in your own life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to turn this situation around. I know You are going to heal my body. I know You are going to restore my family. I know You are going to give me the breaks that I need. I’ve done my part, and I know You will do Yours.” Always remember to speak victory over your circumstances because He is faithful, and He will complete what He’s started in you.

CI 2013 Reboot: Installing Purpose In Life. I was very close to not coming, but the Holy Spirit was really moving me to go. No regrets. This year had its ups, downs, and turn arounds. I want to leave what happened this year, in this year, and reboot for 2014. I am blessed by my Family Group. You guys have a unique perspective and I can see great things in all of you. Olympic Fest was legendary this year and it was all because of these three fantastic leaders. I wasn’t able to take a pic with Theatre, but with the most number of campers and maybe even leaders, you all gave an entertaining show! Lastly, to POWER: get ready for our own little reboot! Other than my Nig(ini), the other unclaimed Horcrux was ANDRE’S NAME TAG (not Joseph’s, or VJ himself). You would have had to answer 3 trivia questions: 

What was the ORIGINAL color of Hermoine’s dress?

Who created the Marauder’s map?

What was his/her/their animal symbol thing?

It would’ve sounded better coming from Hotter Parry himself…

Hope you all had as much fun playing as the Staff did putting these games together… and trying them out… and shooting the videos in costume…. PIGFARTS!!

You know what makes me sad? That children, like boys and girls are every day hurting with inflicting physical and internal pain. Through bullying and vocal hurt, it pains me to know that children are already contemplating suicide. That little kids are tearing one another apart, when they should be lifting each other up. “You’re thin. You are a stick” or “You’re fat, why are you fat?” They say, “kids will be kids”, but on a tomb tone it’ll say “died too young”, for a KID that could of learned from right and wrong. Children die every single day, but they shouldn’t die for that.

"Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe" (Proverbs 29:25, NIV)

Fear is one of the enemy’s favorite tools to keep us from going forward in our lives. As soon as we make a decision to step out in faith and do what God is telling us to do, immediately the enemy will bring fear. He’ll put thoughts in your mind like, “What if I fail? What will others think? Maybe I don’t have what it takes.” He’ll do his best to use fear to try to convince you to shrink back and just stay right where you are.

The Bible tells us that fear is a spirit. It affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are combating fear.

Today, I encourage you, don’t allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life!
