Imagine you’re driving at night, and you pass one of those road signs that warn you of an animal crossing. Only—strange, this one is a bit different; it’s not necessarily the shape of an animal, but the shape is still familiar. You continue on for a bit when, suddenly, something jumps out in front of you and bounces off the hood of your car. You pull over to check what you hit, and it quickly becomes clear why the silhouette on the sign was so familiar: it was your f/o.
