Hiatus Storytime!!

Working on MKS so consistently earlier this year was tiring, I was pulling a lot of late hours with the comic & I think it reflects in the quality of the art i put out. I took a break, expecting to return by March with more.

Boy, how wrong I was.

March 4th, im drawing up MKS chapter 5. Im working on my art fight profile. Im learning procreate dreams. Im on a ROLL.

March 5th, the apple pencil is missing.

The 6th, still gone. No sign on the 7th. Wiggled my iPad through the couch cushions, hopping to hit or free it from a crevice.

No such luck.

I search everywhere. Screw the places you expect- you have to go deeper. Im searching closets, in potted plants, piles of untouched laundry of yore. Its *gone.*

Fine, whatever, who needs it!! I'll buy a new one, the best buy is 20 minutes away. But NO, turns out im a stingy old grouch who requires ancient technology, no longer available at major retailers. There are fewer and fewer options.

I get an off brand stylus. There's no depth control. Its the bare minimum.

I shove it in the side of the couch. Im desperate. It HAS to be there.

Thats. New.

I wiggle under the couch, hugging it on the arms, contorted to my whims.

Like a teet of an udder, the ballpoint tip of the pencil poked through the bottom cushion (its a special tip). At long last and with no new methodry... the apple pencil returned.

DONT YOU EVER LET THEM TELL YOU THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY!!!!!

Im so glad you brought this up. It always baffled me that Pearl×Rick was the crackship of choice when Bojack Horseman is Right There.

And yeah maybe i once wrote a chapter of crackship fanfic about them. Maybe it was toxic old man yaoi and really good. Maybe i posted it on an alternate account and really hope you wont look it up. Maybe, maybe not. You wouldnt know.
