Announcing: Free Fly Weekend, Bonus Voting Week, & Resource Nether/End Dimension Reset!

Hello everyone, just a quick post to announce some things.

Firstly, this upcoming weekend (August 8-9th) will be a free fly weekend. This is to thank everyone for voting for our wonderful server. We recieved over 2,000 votes in July! /fly will be enabled for everyone between these estimated times: Friday, August 7th (early morning EST) to Monday August 10th (early morning EST) Also, if we recieve over 2,000 votes or more this month (on EACH voting website) I will be doing another free fly weekend sometime next month, so be sure to vote!

Secondly, bonus voting week will be enabled through Monday, August 10th (early morning EST), until August 17th (early morning EST). For voting on all 3 voting websites, you'll recieve a total of $2500 plus some bonus XP.

Thirdly, the resource nether & end dimension reset will occur on Saturday, August 8th around 2 AM EST.

Please note: By early morning EST, this is anywhere from 12:01 AM - 4 AM EST.

Regarding UHC

Hello everyone, I've been putting some thought into whether or not I want UHC to be a permanent thing to North-Craft. As I'll be attending college throughout the year (September-April) I'll have some troubles being able to setup UHC every weekend, let alone making sure the server runs smoothly. I am aware that I can get people to do this for me, but I'd also like to be able to participate, and sometimes my presence is necessary. In addition, participants of UHC will also likely be more busy throughout the year, so I could expect there to be less players on for UHC. So here's the plan: Run 15 UHC events before September 5th 2015 (7 more as of 07/26) To do this I will need to schedule some more UHC events then usual. Probably 2 in some weeks. Run 10 UHC events throughout the year. These will be scheduled at random however a bulk of them will take place over holidays. (We'll probably do half of them over the Christmas break) Run 15 UHC events during the summer of 2016. (From beginning of May till late August) I figured it would be nice for me to post a tenative plan for the future of UHC. Hope this all sounds good to you and everyone is excited that UHC will be a semi-permanent thing to NC. ~ Loyal

Important Vanilla Announcement

Hello there!

Our current map on vanilla is reaching the end of it’s line and will be resetting entirely with a new seed and all on July 1st. This means a lot to our older players as they will need to use the next few days to take any screenshots they may desire. (More information on the reset for older players can be found here)

This map reset can also be present an opportunity to join the community as everyone is starting out fresh. If you are interested in joining us, please go here to get whitelisted.

North-Craft’s 2nd UHC Results

After the success and excitement of North-Craft's first Ultra Hardcore gamemode play through, the second event had a lot to live up to, and it certainly did. Throughout the game, we saw players submit to various mobs and other deadly encounters, however the final moments was when we finally saw players fall victim to one another. While the whole event was exciting to watch and kept players and spectators alike on the edges of their seats, the final few moments leading up to the victory had to be the most eventful of all. 

In the final hour, the yellow team (Klaine, Death_Kassie, Super, and Fried_Dough622) found themselves shaking up and making themselves a home. The team quickly became too confident though and used their time to make a home instead of preparing for the final battle. Blue team advanced on thm quickly, and seemed to have the upper hand as they build towards their sky based home, however at the very last second into the water waiting below. In an attempt to take off after the team, Blue’s own Lordcrazyes fell to his doom after missing the water he was aiming for. In the time it took Lordcrazyes to fall to his demise, StueTheQ from the blue team managed to escape and dodged mobs and cacti until Super and Klaine managed to chase him down, Klaine landing the last hit on the brave Blue team member. The final blue team member, KHCPhanton, managed to escape onto the spawn structure and watch his team mates die, He was seemingly stuck though, and while receiving help from The_Loyal_One, Klaine snuck her way up behind him and killed him with little to no mercy. With the Blue team out of the way, things seemed to be looking up for the Yellow team. 

The only other teams remaining were Grey and Green, each only with one player. In a moment of grace, the team returned to their home now flooded with lava to free their beloved pet. Distracted by her pet leaving, Klaine fell to her death by a mere inch, leaving the Yellow team down a member. The loss continued for Yellow as Fried, distracted by the passing of her team mate, didn’t heed the warning sounds of a creeper. Yellow quickly met up with Green’s only remaining player, Jds, and found that they weren’t as invincible as they previously thought. The remaining Yellow team players, Death_Kassie and Super were both taken out by the single player, marking the end to their previous rein. In the end, Green’s Jds and Grey’s Azorn were left to battle it out. Despite having been alone for the longest, Azorn pulled through and pulled the victory away for the Grey team.
