I kinda hate it when people say rich women “will” be able to access abortion in the event of something like Roe v Wade being overturned or the current situation in Poland. It just seems naïve.

Rich women will end up being basically the only ones who might be able to access abortion but it’s sort of dumb to assume that every rich woman in America/Poland/the world knows a safe black market abortion provider, has a husband/partner/family who won’t beat or disown or kill her if she has an abortion, has the necessary personal control over her finances needed to fund travel and the procedure if she does know a provider and needs to keep it secret and/or her partner doesn’t approve. I just don’t think there’s a path to buying a way out of misogyny.
