About the AU:
Sangcheng Revenge AU/ screvengeau is a canon divergent AU where Jiang Cheng’s core transfer operation failed, the Wens won the Sunshot Campaign, Cloud Recesses burned down, and all the other major cultivation sects became vassal sects under the Wen clan.
6 months after the end of Sunshot Campaign, Nie Huaisang is installed as the sect leader for Qinghe Nie. On a mission to find an assassin who has been killing members of the Wen clan, he encounters a straggling wanderer with nothing but the desire for vengeance in his core.
When Jiang Cheng’s core transplantation failed, Wei Wuxian also lost his golden core in the process, they never rebuilt Lotus Pier but swore vengeance against the Wens. Unable to face Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian leaves with Wen Ning and Wen Qing.
Nie Huaisang who lost his elder brother to the machinations of Meng Yao (aligned with the Wens), finds a new tool with which to exact his revenge. Their goals aligned, Nie Huaisang and Jiang Cheng work together to start destroying the Wens from the inside out………….
