The runaways each learning Japanese from Asami as she begins to learn English from them
The runaways realizing they're beginning to understand Japanese and get the idea to use it for codewords and then deciding to learn different codewords in each other's individual languages some in Japanese, Spanish, and Apache, as well as English anything to throw the bad guys off their rhythm
The runaways helping Arsenal mello out and encouraging him to reach out to Will
Arsenal having to be the logical one since he actually had experience being a hero before and the others being just a bunch of living disasters all trying to fight the bad guy but having no clue how to work with each other
Roy having to run their training sessions and be in charge because the others have never formally trained before
The runaways becoming an iconic team known in every minority circle with each of them providing empowerment to these kids who never saw themselves as heroes before
Asami giving a voice to Asian immigrants, Virgil being a hero to black kids as he has always done, Eduardo refusing to shut up about the current situation at the border, and Tye being the first Native American hero kids on the reservation have ever seen
Tye talking about the reservation and the treatment of Indigenous people whenever someone puts him on camera and expects him to act like Tonto
The runaways having no idea where their secret base should be
The runaways absolutely loving Jason Todd (who in my mind is always Mexican)
Like loving him too much, because he just says what they're all thinking all the time, every little thing the runaways could not put into words he puts them into words
Roy and Jason get kind of close whenever Jason would work with the runaways and when Jason died Roy fell back into his old destructive ways and the runaways had to pull him out of it
After Jason's death Roy leaves the runaways for a while to go on his own
The runaways take Jason's death pretty hard too and forget how to work as a team for a while trying to each throw themselves in danger to make sure they don't lose their teammate like they lost Jason
The runaways all having a brainstorm meeting to figure out their superhero costumes
Each of them making total child drawings with crayons and then realizing they have no way to actually create these costumes
