Project Hopeless as a freaking board game

This is gonna be like a library of ideas

The board would be like a tower with the levels stacked on top of each other

you could probably change the amount of levels on the tower depending on how long you want the game to take

All of the levels would have different rules for what you can do when you’re in that level

The levels you have to chose from go from easy mode to ungodly difficult

It would be a 2-3 player game with the playable characters being Nick, Danny, and Cassie

Everyone else effects the random event cards that everyone picks from

They also have opinions on you depending on which character you play as

This can greatly effect how the random event cards can effect you

for instance ‘Ani heals all debuffs on your character if she has a neutral or positive opinion of them’

Or the game could just casually frick you over like ‘Stevie tags along and steals one of your items at the end of your next five turns’ (Danmit Stevie)

Oh yeah stealing stuff would be a huge part of the game 

It’s steal or be stolen from

By default it’ll only work 50% of the time if you’re taking a random item from a person and 25% of the time if you’re trying to steal a specific item

Stealing from someone would lower their opinion of your character down from a positive to a neutral or down from a neutral to a negative or if the character already hates your character it’ll stay negative

You could also probably trade items with anyone who has a positive opinion of the character you’re playing as, but Xaki is the only one you could trade with by defalt

Depending on if the character you’re playing as is on Kazune’s or Joey’s side could be game changing

Instead of those two having cards in the random event pile you could get three favors from the one your character is with

Joey’s favors would most likely be based on bossing characters around, and Kazune’s would be around breaking the game whatever that would mean (Idk)

Playing as Danny might have a really good upside like being able to steal flawlessly but everyone hates him

Playing as Nick might mean only having a 50% chance of being successfully stolen from or something (Idk about this one)

And I have no idea what to do about Cassie

If you have a knife as an item you can kill another character with a 50%-25% success rate (Depending on how strong the character you’re trying to kill is)

You could also use magic to kill a character with a 16%(Ish) success rate (might not even be valid because Idk if Nick Danny and Cassie can use magic)

If you kill a character that’s not another player (That part might be debatable) all characters will have a negative opinion of you (Might be character specific)

If Endy gets a negative opinion of you Sheri will also have a negative opinion of you and vice verse

Kazune’s favors lat you break danm near any rule

The levels are mostly environment based 

An easy mode level could be an abandoned village while a hard one could be filled with poisonous gas that would slowly kill you if you didn’t have access to a cure in time                                    

(Imagine this as instead of a board game it’s a 3DS game with AIs and stuff-)

I have a question for Project Hopeless, if someone wins the "game" and stays in that world, do they gain immortality or just continue to age as normal ?

They gain immortality in some light; they age until they reach the peak of ‘youth’ (aka where you’re done growing but before your body starts deteriorating), and they can’t get sick or have kids, but they can still be hurt.
