Today we'd like to show you a small side non-commercial project our data scientists came up with as they work on our own neural network. Our colleagues from the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM), as well as data scientists from all over the world, have created Open Source algorithms that study potential image-based melanoma probability check. Using their technologies, we've built a website where you can upload a picture of any skin spot and see the probability of skin cancer. We hope this can be useful to some people. Unfortunately, this technology heavily depends on the picture quality and a massive amount of other factors. So given its current capabilities, it doesn't provide sufficient accuracy to serve as any major breakthrough in early detection, but we believe that it's important to draw people's attention and support towards projects like these, which will potentially benefit tens of thousands of people. That's why we do what we do, and we believe that the social aspect of our work is just as important as financial, and are ready to help those who share our values.
