      Penny swung her arms as she walked, pleased with herself for catching on so quickly. No one so much as glanced at her, which was a relief. Penny wasn’t supposed to wander around, especially so close to Beacon. However, at the sight of familiar dark red hair, Penny forgot all about that dilemma. The girl ran over to the other.

      “Hello Ruby!”

The girl certainly seemed enthusiastic. He liked that. “Penny… Cool.” Sun looked down at his tail, a smirk on his face. “—Thanks.” Wasn’t exactly the most expected of compliments, but one he liked hearing.

"…You, uh— Looking for Ruby?" Sun asked, suddenly becoming very aware that he had no idea why the girl was here of all places.

"It's nothing to thank me for!" Penny said in response. "I'm not looking for anything in particular-- just having a stroll." the girl corrected. She loved wandering around unexplored areas. "Beacon is lovely!"

What a formal greeting. Ren felt compelled to bow in turn. As he lifted himself back upright, he said to the friendly stranger, “Hello,” and not much else.

Perhaps it was his custom to bow, so Penny followed suit and bowed in return. "I'm Penny, a friend of Ruby's. Are you a friend of Ruby's?"

Was that?  Sun waved back, a surprised smile on his face. “Aren’t you the girl from the docks?” He hadn’t seen her long, since she seemingly vanished after annihilating Torchwick’s goons. “You were awesome. I’m Sun, by the way, it’s cool to see ya’ again.”

Penny grinned, though it still didn't look quite right. "Oh. Thank you, Sun." she said, though getting referred to as awesome gave her a fuzzy feeling. "It's a pleasure to officially meet you! I'm Penny. I like your tail."
