much to thibk about!!!!! like it probably takes considerable skill to drive at top speeds AND drift with that cheese wedge of a car without it toppling and rolling. He has practice.

I think he wouldn't get in trouble in a high speed chase situation, scotland yard gives him permission a la release the baby from the croods

Would be funny if while under normal circumstances Layton drives like a saint, he bikes like a crazy person. Sorta just because as an adult he doesn't usually have to, and in mm he mentions cycling from school down the hill so a lot of speed one way and a lot of effort the other, and the habit never really died

So if Luke and him had to get somewhere by bike Luke would be like "I have to be super careful so that the professor knows I bike responsibly" and the next thing he sees is Layton already 2 blocks down the road, barely visible

#i love that you had to specify his driving under normal circumstances because we saw how he drives at the end of UF #in another life he could have been a stunt man #he could've been a thrill seeking extreme motorsports guy #but the bicycle version
