Hello friends and folks!

The reason we had a small delay on relaunch is because we had been discussing the old blog. The simplest way to put it was that there was a bit of a diplomatic situation and in the end we’ve decided that the best thing to do would be to stick to the new blog! Again, we apologize for what has happened, but it will not happen again!  We will be re-adding our Before You Submit and Meet The Mod pages shortly. After our pages are in order and a few other blog tweaks are implemented we will open the ask box Our target time of opening is 11 PM Eastern Standard Time. Thank you everybody who has followed us so far! if you’d like to spread this message feel free to! While the circumstances are less than ideal we are very excited to have a fresh start!

Hello friends and folks! This is admin Alex speaking! This is the brand new kinfolkpickmeup. For those of you wondering what in the world happened to the last blog, let me explain. But before that, I extend my most sincere apologies. What happened there should have never happened. That blog, as is this one, is supposed to be safe for all kinfolk. An old admin decided to spam the old blog with explicit images. That was wrong, uncalled for and unjustified. It was motivated by personal drama that I will not go into detail about. What the admins who moved with me aim to do on this blog is to get back into the game with as little drama as possible. But it’s still important to acknowledge and explain what happened. If you’d still like to follow the blog and help us on this new journey, then that would be super great! A fresh start gives us the chance to organize, come together and be stronger than ever. Hopefully we won’t have to face any more extended hiatuses! That being said, nobody can blame anybody who no longer feels safe following us because of what happened. Explicit imagery can be disturbing and triggering, I completely understand and those feelings are valid. Nor can we really blame anybody who felt upset during the hiatus. Best wishes everybody! I fucked up. What I did I should not have done, and by taking personal drama into a community such as kinfolkpickmeup I was absolutely disgusting.

@kinfolk-pick-me-up, I’m sorry. If you want this blog back, and for me to leave it, I’ll gladly do so. If you want the URL(s) back, I’ll gladly hand those back over too.

And for those of you here that don’t know what’s going on, I’m an ex-admin of kinfolk that was mad at the guy running this thing and took it out on the blog.
