The spaceworld 97 Pokemon gold demo has leaked and have been data mined revealing some unused pre evolutions, evolutions of certain Pokémon and some discarded Pokémon designs .

there were also some unused alternate forums

(#221, #222) so in addition to Gloom -> Bellossom, they were also considering Weepinbell -> …that?

(#200, #207) so Slowking looks just like the final version, but it seems Shellder had an alternate evolution as well

also some of the pokemon had dramatically different designs

Chikorita and Meganium were finalized.  Bayleef… wasn’t.
