     “Okay, true, but there aren’t any children in the palace.” As she answers Monarch folds her arms over her chest with a shrug and her head tilts, “You just missed me that much, didn’t you?” her question practically dripped with sarcasm.

“Please--after the last of our encounters the very sight of you makes me want to go on another rampage of destroying entire planets. I could never miss you.” Pitch was trying a new tactic for her sass and stubbornness-- humor. If he could laugh it off, she couldn’t get the enjoyment of seeing him affected by her words.

Quite a few people requested some form of trait/personality generator, and here’s the result!  I wanted to keep it vague enough that the options could work for any universe, be it modern, fantasy, scifi, or anything else, so these are really just the basics. Remember that a character is much more than a list of traits, and this should only be used as a starting point– I tried to include a variety of things, but further development is definitely a must.

Could pair well with the gender and sexuality generator.

Pitch presented Jack with his breakfast–an apple, a small helping of scrambled eggs, and a few pieces of buttered toast. There was milk in a little carton on the edge of the tray. so that’s it? You’ve lost that fight in you? What a terrible shame… I liked that about you… Pitch thought to himself with a small frown. He sat at the foot of Jack’s bed. “Well, in our defense, denial always occurs before any sort of recovery.” He managed a chuckle. “And banging on doors… and refusing medication, doesn’t exactly make you sound sane .”

The fight wasn’t gone completely, just waiting…. then again patience was never Jack’s strength. His eyebrow twitched when the doctor emphasized the last word, “Sane?! Oh and the guy who dragged me here? He’s sane?!” Another laugh came out of Jack, “How can anyone who thinks of such a plan be SANE!?”

You’re thinking of him again, you know you shouldn’t. 

“Shut up already,” Jack muttered suddenly before blinking and realizing he was saying it out loud. A fearful look crossed his face, this place really was getting to him lately. Though he was positive the treatments were only increasing the voice he kept hearing… or was it his anger? 

In an attempt to cover up what had slipped through his lips the young male looked towards the clipboard on the cart, “So, doc, what torture are you supposed to put me through today?” 

Pitch quickly quieted down when Jack began to yell and laugh in response to his statement. “Perhaps he isn’t sane–but you’re the one admitted, Jackson. Put him out of your mind and you will feel much better about this.”

He’s getting worse. As each moment passes… at least he will never get to leave this place. To leave my watch over him.  He wandered off into his own thoughts for a few moments, only to return to the moment when Jack made that slip up. 

The man grabbed up his clipboard and looked it over. “Exercise time… then a stop at the arts and crafts room… then a one on one therapy session with yours truly…” He listed the activities in a friendly but fake tone. With a light laugh he added, “I’ll try not to make the session so torturous as you claim–but first, you must finish your food–and pills–and get yourself up and ready.”

He couldn’t even hold back the groan at hearing all the rather ridiculous things he had to do for the day. Instead of the childish games he liked to play at home, now he was treated like a fragile preschooler. It felt sickening. With a glance at his food Jack, couldn’t even force himself to eat the stale toast or bland eggs. So he just took the apple and avoided looking at the ever growing pile of pills he needed to take these days.

After finishing the apple he glanced towards the sliver of a window he had with bars over the outside. “It was snowing before…” He looked a bit sad then, another winter had come with no word from his mother or sister. Why wouldn't​ they write or visit?

Pitch also glanced toward the window. "Yes--it was... perhaps one day you'll get to see it from the other side of this window." Without even realizing it, Pitch had taunted the boy--though he had actually meant his words in a nicer way than it seemed.

The man paused before slowly moving the pills closer to Jack. "But first-- please, Jackson, I am authorized to make you take them by force but I would prefer not."

So long as you, the mun, understand the consequences of your muse ticking off my muse your muse is allowed to be not nice to mine. Confrontation can be interesting and fun to rp! I welcome it! While you, the mun, should know better than to provoke my muse your muse might not and that’s okay! Mun does not equal muse and vice versa. When your muse provokes mine, disrespects mine, underestimates mine, I am trusting that even if your muse doesn’t know the consequences that you, the other mun, understand there are repercussions for your muse being an asshole.

you want your muse to be an ass to mine? that’s fine – just don’t whine when your muse doesn’t come out of it unscathed.

Pitch had to stop himself from being completely infuriated with the boy.  “Ask your beloved Nicholas St. North– or, what do you call him?… Santa, or something. He knows of the powers I wield. Ask any of them, really. You are but an insignificant boy who knows little of who he’s provoking.”

“I don’t have to ask them. I was there the night we stopped you. I’ll never forget the scared look on your face when your own mare’s dragged you away. You suddenly didn’t look so big. You were quivering like a scared wittle rabbit.”

“I’ll admit there was an oversight in planning--however strategies can be fixed and put back into place, you know.” Pitch was already plotting how he would get Jamie out of the picture once and for all.  He would possess a venomous snake, have it bite Jamie out of fear for its own life, and BAM! The boy that cost him his victory would be gone.
