2022 BMMA SHORT FILM AWARDS

Congrats A.A Productions and cheers for BMMA students 🖤

Aaaaaaah! This is one of my life's most memorable experiences! Everything I've experienced in the last year, including working with a production team, has been new to me. It has been a wonderful journey for us. From pre-production to post-production, we've experienced mixed emotions. We always ran into technical difficulties and problems in the set; it was stressful and time-consuming because we just did it every Saturday, even though it's a school day, and then we still took scenes over the Christmas break just to finish all of the shoots before the year ends, but I suppose it was all worth it! Those sleepless and tiring nights have been well spent for us! I appreciate this production's efforts in this film; thank you to the entire "Lagusa" production team. We would not have been able to win these awards without all of you. Thank you guys, because even though it's new to us, we still guide and teach each other through the full production process, and we still learn a lot. Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to the success of our production. Every single one of you has made a difference in my life! I am hopeful that we, AAP, will continue to achieve our goals. Until the next project, Arf Arf Productions!

Synopsis:

On 1994, Veronica was enjoying time with her coworkers, since she finalized a deal with a client. She had a long day, so when she got home, she cooked dinner and drank wine. She sensed someone is watching her, but chose to ignore it - assuming she was just weary. Veronica received a call from someone she knew who had bad news for her. As a result, Veronica lost her appetite and chose to relax in the tub with a glass of wine. Veronica was attempting to unwind, but she was aware that someone was around the house. What would you do if you found yourself in this situation?

I know it's late, but I just wanted to say that the months of November and December 2020 gave me hope and fulfilled one of my dreams. Way back then, I didn't have the courage to be the muse for a photo shoot, and I'm not that comfortable when someone takes a picture of me because of my insecurities. I was quite conscious of my appearance. My side profile and my face bother me. I also have no idea how to pose. I feel I would simply consume all of their time and none of the pictures are good. I promised myself when I was still in senior high school that when I became a freshman, I would begin to do things I truly wanted to try. Then an opportunity comes along. My new friends whom I made in my section offered me the opportunity to be their muse. I was hesitant at first, but they encouraged me to take the opportunity, and I'm glad I did. I'd like to express my gratitude to my new friends for believing in me, pushing me, and helping me. Also, to myself, thank you for gaining more confidence. I'm happy that I've grown to appreciate myself even more.
