The first time Jeongwoo heard the line "My advice is always ruin the friendship / better that than regret it for all time" he got chills all over his body. It just answered his long time question, the back and fort between his sensible self and that other part that just wanted to say "fuck it, we ball".

Ten years of knowing each other, ten years of friendship–it's not easy to put all that on the betting table. But he's doing it now anyway.

Jengwoo finished his english homework and went straight to the furthest practice room where Doyoung often spends his free time.

Jengwoo takes a deep breath, he knocks three times, puts his hand on the door knob and twists it open—Doyoung's laughter echoes through the empty room.

He stealthily walks inside when he realizes Doyoung’s on live. He sits at the corner, away from the mirrors, quietly appreciating the view.

"And my advice is always answer the question

Better than that to ask it all your life"

Watching Doyoung, Jeongwoo acknowledges the wasted time he questions himself; the times he swallowed the words begged to be said; the years of not letting the other know how much pleasure it was to be inconvenienced by him; the years he blew over the fallacy of his reasoning.

"What are you doing here?" Doyoung asks, pocketing his phone, walking towards him.

Jeongwoo stands,dusting his pants. He admires his face---his smile, his eyes, his rosy cheeks. Jeongwoo's heart beats faster and faster and faster. He's this close to having a panic attack but so much has already been wasted...so he kisses him anyway. and unlike any other calming medicine he has ever tried, the moment their lips touched---all the panic, the tension, uncertainties---fades into the most romantic melody. They dance and waltz their way in and out of the haze until they cannot physically continue anymore. and still high on everything that has happened Jeongwoo speaks, still breathy, "All I wanted to say was…I'm in love with you---I love you."

Doyoung's cat loves going outside, up and down the fire exit, forcing him to always leave the window open or else Coco will cry and cry and cry like she's being neglected. But then one night, Doyoung starts to panic—it's been hours since Coco went outside, it's past her dinner time and she is never not on time for dinner.

Doyoung was about to go look for her when his doorbell rings. He opens his door and standing before him is the owner of the unit above him.

"Hi," he greets.

"Hello." Doyoung noticed the sweat beads on his forehead. "Can I help you?" he asks.

And the next thing that comes out of his neighbor's mouth is not something he would ever expect or even guess or even cross his mind that he has to hear it again. "I'm sorry, what?”

"I said, I think your cat just gave birth in my apartment, in my bedroom more specifically."

Doyoung has a lot of questions to say the least, but most importantly: "Coco was pregnant?!"

Long story short, it was hard raising a child let alone five more kittens, hence the additional parental figure entering their lives. And maybe having two separate apartments is not practical in this economy when one of two owners is almost always sleeping over anyway.
