“Mera dil karta hain ki main poori ki poori Ashar ki pasand ke saanche mein dhal jaun. Jo Ashar ko pasand hai wo apna loon. Jo unhe na pasand ho woh hamesha kay liye chodh doon.”

Some people will misunderstand you, and others will think the best of you. But in the end, neither their criticism nor their praise defines you. What truly matters is who you are in the sight of Allah. Don’t let people's opinions weigh you down. You know your heart, and Allah knows it even better. Fix what’s between you and Him, and walk through life with peace.
"Your Lord knows best what is within yourselves." (Qur’an 17:25)
Aisha reported: I was upon a camel which was misbehaving so I began to strike it, then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me:
You must be gentle, for verily, gentleness is not in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it.
-Musnad Ahmad | No.24417
Ya Allah protect me from an action that will harden my heart against you. Ya Allah prevent the day that your infinite capabilities do not cause me awe. Ya Allah although I am perfectly able healthy and youthful I am a weak being and You are the all powerful Ya Allah give my heart and soul at least the strength to always remember you at all times. Ameen thumma ameen!
“And while it’s nice of you to want to call us ‘modern’ or ‘moderate,’ we’ll do without the redundancy. Islam is by definition moderate, so the more strictly we adhere to its fundamentals—the more moderate we’ll be. And Islam is by nature timeless and universal, so if we’re truly Islamic—we’ll always be modern. We’re not ‘Progressives’; we’re not ‘Conservatives.’ We’re not ‘neo-Salafi’; we’re not ‘Islamists.’ We’re not ‘Traditionalists’; we’re not ‘Wahabis.’ We’re not ‘Immigrants’ and we’re not ‘Indigenous.’ Thanks, but we’ll do without your prefix. We’re just Muslim.”

Seeing my mother genuinely smiling and laughing is truly the best thing in the world. I feel so much at peace. I have no words to describe how much joy it brings me.
I hope I live long enough to see the children of Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria wake up to the sound of birds not bombs
آللهم آغفر لكل ميت لا يجد من يدعو له
“Oh Allah, forgive every dead person who finds no one to pray for him”

7 practical steps for dealing with any affliction, hardship, or grief:
say “inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’oon”
do wudu
pray 2 nafl, reciting surah kafiroon in the first rakah and surah ikhlaas in the second
talk to Allah (swt), cry it out in front of Him
find the masnun duaa for your present situation and beseech your Rabb through the words of His beloved (saw)
let your heart grieve
get up, tell yourself Allah knows you’re strong enough to bear this, and keep going
“When you’re depressed, the only thing that can get you through your time of grief is hope in Allah. When you have hope, you have everything. Keep that hope; value that hope; never give up on that hope. Because when you lose hope, you lose everything. Just as building a house takes time, effort and discomfort - the process of recovering and rebuilding your heart takes time and effort too. It may not heal instantly. It may take time. It can happen in stages. Slowly bit by bit, small parts of pain will start to wither away. You will see in time that if only half of you is healed, you will still cry to Allah to be cured. In the end, after your patience and hope - there will come a day where you will need to be reminded of that grief you went through to remember it even existed. Then will you realise you are cured. Then you will realise that it has come to an end. That is when you know Allah has healed your heart. When you don’t think about it and it takes a reminder to remember that feeling. Do not doubt that this day will occur. Wallahi all it takes is hope in Allah. And the day you feel solace in your heart and you realise it’s all over, you will be glad you didn’t give up hope in the Almighty. Just as a builder doesn’t give up in the long process it takes to build a house - in the time he may injure, bruise and hurt himself - but in the end, the final product is all worthwhile. Similarly, your polished, rebuilt and refined heart is going to shine stronger and happier than ever.”

To all the aching souls right now: I pray The Almighty mends your hearts. I pray gentler and warmer days come your way. And I promise you that time is the antidote for heartbreak. Healing will come.
Like a fasting Muslim who is waiting- for the Maghrib athaan.
I am waiting for you, patiently.
Knowing that if Allah has written you for me, you will come.
“Stay with her, for verily Paradise is beneath her feet.” - Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
“وَرَبُّكَ الْغَفُورُ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ ۖ And your GOD is the forgiving , full of mercy”
— Holy Quran 18:58 (via suhaib93)
Iblīs cried four times:
1. When he was cursed by Allāh.
2. When he was thrown out of Jannāh.
3. The Prophet’s ﷺ birth.
4. When Sūrāh al-Fatihāh was revealed.
