I'll be on tomorrow. I've just had a bit of a rough night
I just got home from work so I'll be on tomorrow morning.
Aaron
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare.” Hazel eyes widened in apology, before staring at the wheel of the chair to figure out the best way to get it unstuck. Eyes flicked upwards with a slight nod, before grasping onto the handles and gently lifting the chair out of the gutter than placed it onto the sidewalk. “Hopefully your chair doesn’t get stuck in another gutter.”
“Most don’t mean to stare but they do. Doesn’t mean I can’t call them out on it.” Will remarked, a grunt passing his lips as he was placed back onto the footpath. “Usually I try to avoid gutters but I couldn’t this time.”
Kurt
“usually zey think of me as a devil.” but there’s not bitterness in his voice, he knew people would always look at him strangely but there was nothing he could do about it, except prove that he was a good guy. “mutant, but i vas part of ze circus in munich. ze incredible nightcrawler!” he let go of the man’s chair and then bamf’d again so that he was standing on the other side, tail flicking slightly as he grinned.
“Well, you’re not my devil so don’t worry about that.” Will remarked with a shrug, before giving a nod. “Mutant?” That was a new thing for the male. “Nightcrawler is a new name. Do you use it often?”
Art
“No the whole living life to the fullest thing. I figured about the chair”
“Because doing all the things I loved when I hate being like this and living like this would ruin it.”
Annie
“You had a castle? W-” She was about to ask what a castle was, but figured it sounded quite odd and just shook the thought away. “Sorry, I’m Annie by the way, and this is my son, Oliver.”
“My parents had a castle, I just got a section of it.” He interjected, before giving a nod. “Will. It’s a pleasure Annie, and Oliver.”
Art
“and you can’t do that now?”
“Not be in a chair? Because no, I can’t do that. I need the chair to do anything.”
Sam
“Did you really get your foot stuck in a gutter and expect people not to stare? I don’t know if you’re aware, but it’s not every day something like that happens.“ Sam fired back his own brand of sarcasm, slightly enjoying the banter. He ventured up to the male, not in any hurry to help. A scarred hand went around the man’s foot, which he jerked back so it got released from the gutter.
“No, of course not. I thought that they’d make a big song and dance about it.” Will shot back, slightly amused that the other male wasn’t afraid to give back what Will threw out. “But I did expect one kind human to take pity on the poor paralysed man and at least make his misfortunes go viral so every wants to be his friend.”
Kurt
“i don’t zink they are staring at you” kurt’s tail flicked as if to exaggerate the point that the people were probably staring at him, he was blue after all. he studied the chair for a moment before nodding. “i suggest closing your eyes.” he grabbed onto the handles and concentrated for just a moment before- bamf. all the was left was a small cloud of smoke and suddenly they were a few feet away, on more solid ground.
“Maybe they just thought you were a figment of their imagination?” Will questioned, before shaking his head at the man’s suggestion. “I’m a thrill seeker, I don’t close my eyes for anything.” He interjected before turning his head to look at the other. “What are you? Some kind of magician?’
Annie
“I think he was just being curious, I’m sorry.” She makes a face. “Right, that would be understandable.” Annie licks her lips and shakes her head again. “I can’t say that I could do that, or else I would be lying. He is two years old.” Oliver looked up from where he had been standing behind his mother and gave a wave.
“He’s fine. I just haven’t had a lot of kids stare at me.” He remarked, before nodding his head in recognition of the young boy’s wave. “Exactly, so there’s nothing anyone can do. Two was a great age. I had a whole section of my castle just for me. It was great fun.”
Tate
“You’re smarter than that.” He couldn’t help but roll his eyes, gaze falling upon the other as he continued. “Be more like my sister. Happy. Can you do that? Because from where I’m standing, seems impossible.”
“Am I? Do you think you know me?” Will questioned, before his head shook. “If you want happy talk to Clark, she was the happy one for us. She was the reason I wanted to get up in the morning and live this miserable life and even she couldn’t save me. So no, happy isn’t really my thing.”
James
James was quick to mutter an apology as soon as the man spoke to him, lips curving into a tiny smile at the strange choice of words. He hadn’t meant to stare, merely unsure whether the stranger actually wanted his help or not, and after receiving a somewhat permission, the former Gryffindor didn’t hesitate to approach the man, pushing him back onto the sidewalk. “Now, now, a thank you will be enough.” Grinning at his own words, James eventually shook his head. “You alright?”
“The world would combust if I ever uttered a thank you. And without my carers, you are most unlikely to receive one.” Will interjected, before his head tilted to the side to look at the other. “Well, my brain isn’t paralysed yet, so I’d say it’s not my most terrible day.”
Ellie
“My worlds a little different. All that’s left is survivors and infected. You wouldn’t stand a chance, that’s all I’m saying.” She wasn’t trying to be rude. It was just the truth. And her answer to his question. “I’m not allowed to be sorry?”
“I think you’ll find that I’ve survived a lot of things and my wit would keep me going.” He remarked before giving a nod. “Yes, don’t be sorry. I don’t want your pity.”
Annie
“I was staring?” She furrows her eyebrows and shakes her head, walking over and helping him get the wheelchair out of the gutter. “Is that better? Oh, I usually like to do more than just one good deed in a day. It’s fun to help others.” Annie shrugs and gives the man a smile, as she clutches Ollie’s hand to make sure that he doesn’t run off. “Is there anything else that you need?”
“Your son was.” There’s a slight shrug, before he’s shaking his head. “I find helping others to be quite impossible given my current situation.” Will remarked, before his head turned to look at the other. “I do need my doctor and my carer. But I doubt even you could bring me them – so no. How old is your son?”
Ariel
The redhead looked downed. Feeling even worse about her actions. “ Those people aren’t very nice.” the words were soft. She couldn’t see anything that was great about what she had witness. Even if she did it herself. “Anytime. I’m sorry, a motorcycle? Oh my. But I would believe so. I on the other hand don’t see how anyone could enjoy those things. They are loud and annoying.”
“No one is very nice. I learnt a long time ago to not let it get to me.” Sure, Will felt slightly bad for the way he was treating the other, but if anyone else had died and then came back he was certain they’d be the same way. “Yes, a motorcycle. They are quite fun to ride and they go over well with some of the ladies.”
Tate
“My sister was the happiest. Until our mother opened her goddamn mouth. You should be more like her. No matter what people do or say.” He hadn’t seen Addie in a long time. And he’d be lying if he said he didn’t miss her. She use to visit often. Pushing his chair back onto the footpath, Tate wasn’t usually one for good deeds but he knew it’d be wrong of him to just leave.
“Are you telling me to be happy like your sister? Or keep my mouth shut like your mother?” Will questioned, eyebrows knotting together at the male’s remarks. “You are quiet confusing.”
Art
“and what was your old life like?”
“Not being in a chair. And living life to the fullest.”
